Demott auction was well aware of this van having a bad engine and did not announce it to get a higher price for the vehicleThe city that dropped this off knows why they sold this because it was a bad engine and the auction that moved the van around there yard knew it had bad engine.
I have the van at a ASE ceritified mechanic and he has confirmed that it is a BAD ENGINE I even provided a video showing the noise to Demott auction
I want a FULL refund plus the cost of my transportation cost that brings this van of up to $8000+

letter, we are responding within 7 working days to the customer's statement.
 
We have read the
customer statement regarding his purchase at the 02-15-14 auction in
Florida.  We tried explaining to [redacted] via
the telephone that we do not guarantee anything that is sold.  It is on all of our terms and conditions
including our online providers site that all merchandise is available for
inspeaction and that DAC  acts only as an
agent and assumes no responsibility for warranties or guarantee of machinery. We
do try to disclose if we know that something is wrong to potential customers,
however, we are agents for multipal consignors at each auction and we do not
know and could not know the condition of every piece.  Prior to registration online you must accept
all terms of the auction company. We are enclosing a copy of the invoice with
the terms and a copy that was emailed to him from the online provider with the
same terms.
 
[redacted] was an
online bidder and there were bidders at the location bidding live he did not
have to and was not forced to out bid the man on the ground, but for the record
he purchased a 2011 Ford E350 XL 15 Passaenger Van for only $5,700.00 plus
premium etc.  The NADA ruff trade base
value on this vehicle with no options is $13,050 he obviously thought this was
a good deal since he is an auto dealer. 
We have no way of knowing if this van needs a motor or not.  For all we know it may only need a tune up
which again is not our responsibility.
