Denali Roofing

We had them re-roof a number of different businesses that were damaged by hail and covered by insurance. They have not paid their vendors for the supplies which in turn has resulted in liens on our businesses!! They don't even have the decency to return my emails or calls to resolve the issue. I would not recommend doing business with them.

We recently contracted with Denali Roofing to remove and replace an asphalt shingle roof. The workmanship was of extremely poor quality. I have met with representative from Denali roofing on multiple occasions and they are unwilling to correct the poor workmanship. We have had multiple roofing contractors inspect the roof and they are all in agreement that the workmanship was very poor and a full tear off and re-roof is indicated. Additionally a decorative fountain and our HVAC unit sustained damage as a result of impact with bundles of shingles which were dropped off of the roof. They also caused damage to stucco on nearly every elevation of the house.

After having my roof damaged in a wind storm. One of my choices was Denali Roofing. I would highly recommend this company if you need anything roofing. They go the extra mile and then some. They worked directly with my insurance company and made good on every promise. The job was done timely and the clean up was awesome. I was blown away at the attention to detail and quality of work. Thank you Team Denali.

Denali Roofing wasted my time and energy with two inaccurate estimates. They were difficult to get in touch with and are primarily interested in looking out for themselves not their customers. Mike initially provided an estimate of 7.7K for re-roofing my home. They were the low bid and I asked if they would take the job if I did all the prep work. They agreed. Thinking that could save about 2-3K in the process, I stripped the roof, took care of disposal, obtained the permit, purchased all the underlayment, applied paper, flashing and drip edge. I had 1.6K in materials plus 80 hours in labor. Mike then provided a second estimate of 5.9K which is to say that I did all that work for about $100. When I asked him to explain the reason for his figures he realized that he underestimated the size of the roof on both estimates. Mike subsequently provided a revised estimate for about 8.9k. When I pointed out that he would have been on the hook for a 3K loss had I accepted a his original estimate he replied, "yes but you didn't". When I asked if he could meet me in the middle and split the difference (I pay 5.9K + 1.5K and he complete the work for 1.5K less than the latest bid his response was that Denali would not make any profit. I pointed that all the work was done and that all his crew had to do was supply the shingles, nail them down, fit the roof jacks and install the ridge vent but apparently Denali Roofing 'does not have a spreadsheet that will calculate this scope of work' meaning they can install the shingles only if they charge me what they would charge to do the entire job beginning with the tar paper. This being the case I had to go back to the bank, reapply for my refinance and rebid the job. I did find a company who could do the job considering that the prep work was complete. As a self-employed business person of 16 years, I can tell you that Denali Roofing is inflexible and unwilling to put their customer first.
