The went back when looking for new vehicles (3 vehicles). Checked web site for specials made the list and my husband went up to look at specific vehicles.NOT One of the vehicles could be found on the lot, but would show similar ( more expensive) vehicles. 1 specific vehicle of interest was requested several times, great deal, and because they saw an identical one on the lot. And matching vin #. The sales person said it was a stick shift and actually took the list crossed out automatic and wrote "stick" over it. Not one of the vehicles that were advertised were found or shown. Told couldn't be found but could look at similar vehicles that were more expensive. There were 10 vehicles on the list.
Next day, even after hearing the frustration of the previous day - I figured they had an off day and took my list up to see the Ford Escapes. Prior to going. I call 2x,s to confirm I was reading the add right, gave the stock numbers, confirmed with 2 different people the price and that the vehicles were there before leaving. Again. Told stock # and confirmed what the price would be for those vehicles prior to going. Got there with another person to also check the vehicles and was told that neither stock number was on the lot. Received conflicting information about where they were. One person said out for test drive, the general manager actually said his wife was driving one and then named another person who drives the other vehicle, while the sales person said test drives had to be scheduled for these vehicles. I explained I did call to confirm and mentioned I was coming up to see the ad 2017 NEW vehicles. they agreed to let us see and test drive comparable vehicles for the same price. Two hours later when we sat down to do the paper work. The price was an additional $13,000. Explanations were it wasn't the same vehicles and the ones I had wanted to drive (listed as new) were demo vehicles and not available. The price in the add was for one of the stock numbers listed not all of them. I was furious and said so explaining I had called twice to confirm the price for the stock numbers I was going to be looking at. Stay clear of this dealer ship. They may have been honest at one time but not any more. One incident can be someone's bad day. Two with two customers and two different sales people tell me it is their way of doing business.
