Hello, I am an army wife stationed with my husband in Columbus, Georgia and I have quite the past. I have accumulated 3 D.U.I.'s over the past eight years, two of which I had yet to resolve until a week ago when I hired Denis W[redacted] I moved from California a year ago and commissioned another attorney (who I will not mention here- we'll call him "ex-attorney") a year and a half ago to help with the second and third DUI's I was charged with, letting him know we're a military family and I'd need help out of state. It seemed like since I was out of state he (ex attorney) didn't care about my case and I didn't have money to invest in another attorney at the time as my husband was deployed overseas and I don't make that much as a waitress, especially with all the fines I was charged with. It took him (ex attorney) a year to get the right paperwork and court orders together for me to serve my time, and while I was on my ankle monitor house arrest (ex attorney) missed a court date, resulting in a failure to appear on my behalf. We'd finally had it with this guy who thinks it's cool to steal from military families and not show up to court dates, and after looking online at other reviews we decided to call Denis W[redacted] I was immediately impressed with his quick and thorough response and professionalism. In verifying my information he made conference calls with me on the line so I was included in all matters of my case, he was very honest upfront, letting me know the possibilities that could have happened since (ex attorney) continued my case multiple times (like 3 or 4 times Denis W[redacted]informed me) and it was possible the court had had enough. Denis W[redacted] was the best part of a terrible situation. After my DUI I had no idea what to do and felt completely lost in the minutia of the legal system. A friend who had a similar experience gave me Denis' number. Right from the beginning I felt welcomed by Denis. I came in, sat down, and he began explaining in very clear details all the moving parts that had started after my incident.
