Because the job required more time Than I had estimated, and because the materials were more expensive then I had figured, I needed more of the money that was owed to me at the end of the job to be given to me sooner than I had requested in the progress payments on my contract When I
asked the homeowner if he could give me some of the money that was owed me upon completion of the job sooner in order to pay for the materials and the labor to complete the job he told me that he wasn’t willing to do that The homeowner needed several weeks to finish his responsibilities for the project to be completed and thus for me to be able to request a final inspection in order to get the balance of what was owed me and, because I only had a only few days of work left to finish my responsibilities I left the job in order to make money elsewhere in order to keep paying my bills and with the idea that I would hopefully make enough money to finish my responsibilities on his job before he finished his so that I would not be holding up the completion date What I feel needs to happen is that he should give me some of the money needed to complete the work and hold back what’s not necessary for that and give to me the balance owed to me when the job is signed off as completed by the inspectorI also feel that he should complete his part of the project so that it doesn’t hold up the money that I am owed upon completion of the project and that he should allow me to come on to the property when it is convenient for me to do so during working hours Monday through Friday

Thank you Revdex.com for your efforts to help *** take communication between myself and the consumerThe following is what I would like to communicate to the consumer. I want you to know that I am sorry first of all that your expectations were not met by my company I now have the monetary means to complete The work remaining as stated on my contractI would like to know when I could come to see what remains to complete the project as I am not sure how far you have gotten on completing your end of the projectI would like for you to contact me and let me know if and when we could get together to discuss how we are going to proceed to complete the project As far as anything that I may have said about doing 90% of the work on your project myself, I want you to know, that it is not stated on my contract nor do I remember stating that to youI’m not sure if in fact I haven’t done 90% of the work that has been completed so far by myselfI suppose it could be argued that I haven’t quite done 90% maybe it’s 80% or whatever Either way, I want to again state that I am sorry that any expectations real or imagined we’re not met by my company as my full intention was to please you with the performance of my company on your project I also want you to know that I was willing to communicate with you much sooner than this date but, I was honoring your request to not contact you I am interested in knowing at our next meeting what further expectations you have if any and to have a reasonable Discussion so that we can best complete your project

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Sorry for not getting back sooner. Things have been hectic here. The story that [redacted] Costello tells reads like fiction. He makes it sound like he has no wrongdoing here, and that it was his choice to go seek other work to get the $ to finish our project. The truth was that he ran out of $, likely because of the amount of labor that he paid out to other carpenters etc to expedite the job before Xmas. Then he kept approaching us for more money in advance, to pay even more $ to more workers so that THEY could basically finish HIS job. The original arrangement was that [redacted] was going to be doing 90% of the work himself, and was going to pay us for the work that we performed, and deduct it from the final payment. We have a laborer that is still owed $100. W
Regards,
[redacted]
