Non-performance of a contract to install a roof on my house.
On November 17, 2013 [redacted] and Company's project manager [redacted] received a material prepayment of $2,630.74 for a roof installation. On Nov 18, 2013 the check was deposited to [redacted] and Company's business account Between Nov 2013 and March 2014 [redacted] and Co. conducted a series of deceptive practices, including dubious excuses for nonperformance under the contact. These excuses included too cold, crew not available, mother died, and promises of installation without a specific date. Due to a pending sale of my home I had to obtain the services of a different contractor. As of June, 2014 requests for a refund of the prepayment of @2,630.74 have been ignored.
