*** this situation came about after my office placed an endorsement adding course of construction coverage for a home in which *** *** was building. We added coverage under his Commercial General Liability policy The documentation was forwarded to our Commercial department of
the Co-operators as usual on our computer system to have the coverage bound. Our Commercial department missed this addition and after time had gone by, they then requested payment for this error as coverage would have been in place. If any claim had originated at this property the Co-operators would have honoured the claim. I am an Insurance Agent under contract with the Co-operators General Insurance Company. This error lies solely on the Co-operators and not on my AgencyI have all correspondence documented to confirm that my Agency was not negligent in any manner in regards to this situation I have in the past had many discussions with Mr*** where I apologized for the error that the Co-operators made here and I reassured him that a claim would have been honoured should there have been one. Should you have any questions of me please call me and I can assist you with your concerns. I await your response to have my Agencies name cleared of any wrong doing in regards to this situation. I have had no previous situations to warrant a report made against me sent to your Bureau for the last years where I have been under contract with the Co-operators. I am hoping to have my Agency’s name protected and this situation resolved where everyone concerned is happy I am also asking that my companies rating be restored to the best rating available.
