Then she claims that upon talking to my crew(one of the techs on the job) - keeping in mind I have witnesses in the store listening to our man's side of the conversations, we hear him tell her yes we do use the hose, its in the pool filling at some point, then we always pull it OUT of the pool and turn it off at the end Notice her "contradiction" states "they do use the house and do put it in the pool" ignoring the fact that he also said we turn it off & pull it outI took the phone away from him when he got so flustered that he offered to pay for the water just to placate herI became upset when she tried to tell me that he said "we left the hose in the pool" that's when I said in regard to the agreement what my man said " you lose" "I have witnesses ( & then I named them) that her him say otherwiseAlthough I raised my voice, I never screamed at herHer statement re "not letting me talk" is not trueShe never took a breathAbsolutely refusing to hear any side off the story except her ownThese are the points, logical that I tried to make with her understanding that it was not POSSIBLE for us to have left the hose running (for hours no less) and no one in the house was aware or otherwise involved (not that she ever stopped talking long enough to hear them)*I said that one of your children may have turned on the hose - her reply "my kids were older and would have no reason to do such a thing" I told her they would have every reason not to be truthful to her "older" kids are the only ones who would even think about adding water to a pool*No one in the house (+ people) heard the water going "tick tick tick" for days? Re: Complaint # [redacted] from 5/14/2015From: Dennis Manning Pool Center   1226 Fairport Rd  Fairport NY 14450 On 5-11-15, 2 of my employees opened customers pool. They have a roughly 19' x 35' in-ground pool with a mesh safety cover. They are new customers:...

we closed their pool in fall 2014, for the fall of 2014, for the first time. Another local pool company had opened their pool in spring of 2014 and installed a new heater for them.  Why they switched to us in fall 2014 I have no idea. During the opening their teenage son and 2 early teen girls were attempting to play basketball in spite of the facet that the pool truck with the damp down was blocking the basketball hoop. Pools of this nature(with a liner) are typically found with the water level above the skimmer - esp after this winter. We do use the customers hose for our pressure washer. After, we put the running hose into the pool, while we vacuum out the heavy sediment to WASTE using a 1 H.P. Pump. This uses a varying amount of water, possibly 6", that is why we run the hose, so we hopefully end up about mid-skimmer & can start the system, backwash it and leave the system running upon our departure.  In this case, the system was run-able, but water level slightly below mid skimmer. We turned OFF the hose, and pulled it our it OUT of the pool.  We ALWAYS do this so it is obvious to EVERYONE that the hose is off - especially US. We even turn off the hose in front of the customer, forcing them to turn it back on and put it in the pool themselves. ( Some people take offense at this, but it is our unbreakable policy).Reading customer statement you will notice she says "i.e., they don't EVER leave a hose in the pool. An they never leave the water on." Then she claims that upon talking to my crew(one of the techs on the job) - keeping in mind I have 5 witnesses in the store listening to our man's side of the conversations, we hear him tell her yes we do use the hose, its in the pool filling at some point, then we always  pull it OUT of the pool and turn it off at the end.  Notice her "contradiction" states "they do use the house and do put it in the pool" ignoring the fact that he also said we turn it off & pull it out. I took the phone away from him when he got so flustered that he offered to pay for the water just to placate her. I became upset when she tried to tell me that he said "we left the hose in the pool"  that's when I said in regard to the agreement what my man said " you lose"  "I have 5 witnesses ( & then I named them) that her him say otherwise. Although I raised my voice, I never screamed at her. Her statement re "not letting me talk"  is not true. She never took a breath. Absolutely refusing to hear any side off the story except her own. These are the points, logical that I tried to make with her understanding that it was not POSSIBLE for us to have left the hose running (for 48 hours no less) and no one  in the house was aware or otherwise involved (not that she ever stopped talking long enough to hear them)*I said that one of your children may have turned on the hose - her reply "my kids were older and would have no reason to do such a thing" I told her they would have every reason not  to be truthful to her "older" kids are the only ones who would even think about adding water to a pool. *No one in the house (4 + people) heard the water going "tick tick tick" for 2 days? * No one saw the pool overflowing for 2 days*2 -3 kids home along for 2 days never went near the pool*Neither parent after work for 2 days  never went by the pool to check out our job?  Really?  the new guys- opening for the first time??* Pool is visible from every single window in the back of house. Nobody looked out?* We always tell new customers to check the pool opening AS SOON AS THEY GET HOME. (New York State Liability LAW by the way. Pool MUST be safe and secure! Homeowners responsibility 24/7!!* NOBODY took a shower for 2 days and notice the lack of water pressure? * $60.00 was only the "tip of the iceberg" they were really going after*She called 5-13 for heater cleaning?? Didn't check??Yes, after she literally tired and force & trick  my  employee into admitting something he didn't do, ceaselessly badgering me verbally, twisting the truth, I accidentally used the dreaded "F" word ONCE(probably in desperation to make her stop talking and listen) no excused on my part. (see last 5 presidents or maybe Jon Stewart)She instantly jumped on my faux pas even as I instantly apologized- "NOW"  your gonna have to talk to my husband"   -not "swearing and cursing" at her as alleged - I told her "please have your husband call me  - I tried to end the conversation, over & over finally repeating " Mama, I'm going to hang up now" about 5 times. She continued to talk non-stop. I finally did hang up, without her acknowledgement!-Husband called store about 1 1/2 hrs later and HUNG UP on MOE the manager before she could put him in touch with me to straighten out situation.Dennis S ManningPlease read enlightening exhibits attached.
