Review: Dennis Photofinish Ltd. was reported to be a reputable company from my son's school East St. John High School; however, I later come to discover their poor customer relation skills that is hidden behind their resplendent work. On March 8, 2014 my son and I initially went into the business to inquire about the Senior photos and prices. As a result, I was pleased with the prices and portfolio work; therefore, we proceeded to take my son's senior photos. The experience was okay, but was not at my full satisfaction. I allowed the photographer to proceed with the photo taking. I received the photos 2-3 weeks after they were taken and noticed that certain shots were incorrect. To clarify, there were pictures with Tuxedo shots that displayed the jacket to be entirely large. To resolve this issue, I communicated with the owner of the company. On the other hand, my main concern is with the gallery print. When I finally received the gallery print, I noticed that my son's foot was cropped off and the picture was improperly aligned. The reason for me selecting the photo was because the receptionist inclined that the photo with the year and the graduate HAD to be used as the center photo. Which I incessantly explained to the owner; however, he insists that the error was my fault without fully investigating the issue and seeks additional payment to resolve the matter. If this matter at hand was fully investigated, the owner would discover that the mistake originated with the primary photographer. From examples of the work, it can be concluded that the error was made by the photographer because of the incorrect alignment of the photos. I venerate the owner and do not seek monetary damages; however, I would like for the owner to fully cooperate with a replacement photo in order to amicably satisfy the service provided.Desired Settlement: I would like for the owner to fully cooperate with a replacement photo in order to amicably satisfy the service provided.
