I am still awaiting contact by Denny. Instead of the back and forth, I felt it best to share our actual discussion via email so that it can be seen that Denny has stopped the communication process. we do not specialize in marketing cars under $10,however we occasionally have them when we think they are nice.we sell them all 'as is' because they are usually older and may have minor mechanical issues.even though these cars are represented 'as is' we try to help any of our customers
with any issue that makes them feel unsatisfied.we asked *** to bring the Mercedes back to us when the check engine light came on so we could help him with the repair.he does live and work over an hour away and I understand that is a hardship but we have many customers who live as far or farther and make ways to bring us their cars if we are going a step beyond the 'as is' to help them.when I emailed *** concerning taking it for repair and anticipating a refund from me on a car bought 'as is' I told him not to expect us to participate and he told me of all the consumer sources he would use to make his point.he also indicated that he did not expect me to pay the entire bill and that he would partner with me a share of the bill.I tried to reach him to discuss but never did..he knows I tried but the communication was never successful and I blame myself for that..in any event I am open to discussion to settle issues with a new customer and knowing today that his car is still not fixed makes me wonder had he taken the time to bring it back to me we would not be having this issue.denny d***
