Review: I purchased an Insignia home stereo receiver from [redacted] at [redacted]. The stereo was a model he had on shelf as a "demo". He told me the receiver was "brand new and never used", I purchased the stereo for $90. Upon receiving the receipt I stuck it in with the manual for the stereo. I took it home, plugged A SINGLE WORKING speaker into EACH of the TWO speaker outputs. Plugged a BRAND NEW 1/4" to RCA cable into the AUX input. Connected my less than one month old phone up to it. I then plugged the power cable into my WORKING electrical socket in my dining room. Both my friends that were at the store where I purchased the stereo, were there also, witnessing me increase the volume from zero (0) to seventy-three (73). Getting only about 15-20 decibels of sound from both speakers. I tried multiple stereo inputs on the receiver, all of which, did the same.After grieving about the stereo, I picked up the receipt, on it was stamped something like, "each product sold is one of a kind, all sales final, warranty not included" something like that. I went to the store the following day asking him about the stereo. He told me that I could've dropped it or broke it, but he would be willing to take a look at it IF I left it with him over the night. Denied me a refund and called me an "It" numerous times as he told me to leave his store.No, I did not drop the stereo, let the stereo get wet or anything of the sort. I do remember hearing "[redacted], JR." say "I plugged a couple of speakers up to one of these and cranked it up, the speakers popped right away" Few seconds later he stated "Of course, not this one" I wonder if the speakers didn't pop and the stereo did. And this was the stereo he used.Desired Settlement: I wish to be refunded my $90.00+ for this product seeing as that it was "brand new" and didn't work.
