TORQUE CONVERTERTHEY REPLACED IT & PICKED UP THE NEXT DAY
DENNY'S STAND "PERCENT" BEHIND WHAT THEY DO WITH NO QUESTIONS
IN FACT, WHEN THEY APOLOGIZED TO ME FOR MY INCONVENIENCE, THEY
"REALLY MENT IT" EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A "MANUFACTURING DEFECT" IN
THE NEW CONVERTER, THEY FELT IT WAS THERE FAULT BECAUSE THE JOB WAS
NOT DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME
ME & MY FAMILY WILL BE THERE CUSTOMER FOR ANY TRANS ISSUES, CHECK
UPS OR ROUTINE FLUID CHANGES FOREVER

Most of us have all been exposed to manipulative, sociopathic vehicle repairmenMy positive experience with Denny's transmission dates back to about when my oldest daughter's Dodge pickup transmission started acting upMy daughter visited Denny's Transmission then simply because "It was in the neighborhood"I thought, back then, "Okay, how much are they going to try to get for a transmission rebuild..." it turns out they took a look at it and replaced the solenoid for about $bucks, a long way from the $1,plus I thought they'd want for a transmission rebuildMy daughter drove that truck for several years without further problems before she traded it inThe point here is they fix what's brokenThey don't sell you a transmission rebuild if you don't need it
Back to my truckI plan on driving this truck for many, many years, so I take good care of it***, at the Cave Creek store offered me three optionsOne, fix it for a reasonable amountTwo, rebuild it for the long haul (Excuse the pun.)Three, upgrade the transmission with premium parts that would make the transmission Super-Heavy-Duty(I brought it up.) I had previously priced out these upgraded transmissions and knew the number he gave me was half of what I'd pay elsewhereI went with the premium upgrade and couldn't be happier with the improved power and peace of mind I have
One more thing everyone should knowIn the state of Arizona, transmission rebuild shops can install a couple of parts and call it a "Rebuilt transmission"There is NOT a universal standard, in Arizona, for what a rebuilt transmission must includeDenny's has been around a long time and is owned and operated by a second and third generation (depending on which of their two shops you go to.) Denny's is honest, they'll replace all the parts required for a complete, honest rebuildOther shops may charge less but you face the wrath of sociopaths
