I apologize for my delay in responding I was out of town on family business While I appreciate the homeowner's attempt to resolve this matter, I stand by my claim that neither I,nor my workers are responsible, in any way, for the damage to their basketball hoopAgain, as I said, if I felt we had done anything wrong I would have taken care of the matter immediately We have done several jobs for the [redacted] 's in the past and I don't want to cause any strain on our business relationship Mrs [redacted] mentioned to me that she may want additional work done on trees this fall I would be happy to give her a deep discount on that work to restore our previously good relationship.Steve [redacted] AAA Tree Service, Inc

My company was contracted by the ***'s to remove Ash treesI came to the job site to mark the trees and I told Mrs*** that we would be there the following morning to do the job I told her at that time that she and her husband were responsible for moving their grill, picnic table
and basketball hoop to allow access for our equipment When we arrived the following morning none of the items had been moved I knocked on the door to let Mrs*** know that we were there to start the job Since none of the items had been moved I instructed my employees to move the items so that we could commence work Mrs*** was there and witnessed them being moved They were moved to level concrete groundShe never said that there was an issue with where they were moved We completed the job in approximately 1/hours and Mrs*** was there the entire timeI informed Mrs*** that we would need to leave a vehicle at her property for a little while so that we could finish up another job She told me that would be okay When we left her property the basketball hoop was standing and in good condition It was not our responsibility to move the items back to their original position If the ***'s had wanted us to be responsible for moving their property, that would have been included in the proposal and an additional fee would have been imposed Some time after our crew had left Mrs*** called our office to say that the wind had knocked over their basketball hoop and she wanted us to pay to replace it I told her I would contact our insurance company My agent informed me that we were in no way responsible for the damage We left their basketball hoop in good condition and we are not responsible for damage done by the wind We feel bad that this happened and if we felt we had contributed to the damage then we would have replaced the hoop immediately

Tell us why here...I just prefer to not have AAA service back to do anymore work for meI do not believe Steve is honest and not worth giving him anymore of my business

We greatly regret the misunderstanding An invoice was sent to the ***' on November 1st showing a price of $and with tax the amount due is $ We did more than half the work that was quoted at $ We removed all of the hazardous trees in the rear bermThat was all
the work Mr*** said he could afford at this time and we were happy to work with him on that.SincerelySteve ***AAA Tree Service

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Thank you Revdex.com for your assistance in obtaining an invoiceWe have sent a check to the vendor. Please note that the original amount of $was for the removal of birches from bermsI had called to split the work into work ordersThe back berm was originally quoted at $(out of $850)We negotiated a $reduction to leave the wood and brushWe then would remove the remnantsSo the balance of $(including tax) was for the back bermNote that we will not be pursuing removal of the front berm with AAA Tree Service.Thank you again for your assistance Revdex.com.Regards,
Michael ***
