I would very much like this matter to be closed However, as they, themselves state, even in their respective reply to you, that they telephoned me constantly and consistently, which is harassment and will not be tolerated Nobody ever told them I did not live there However, it should be noted and taken into serious consideration, that they, in no way ever even attempted to contact me via USPS mail, which, again, I believe, they are obligated to do, under the respective laws

The following is a summary of the facts related to collection
activity conducted by Denovus, based on a detailed collection history and
telephone records we maintain for each account:

Denovus received Ms.
[redacted]’s phone number, ###-###-####, as a contact number for an account obligor.
Denovus first attempted to contact the obligor at the above referenced
telephone number on March 12, 2014.
2.    
Denovus placed calls
to ###-###-#### from March 12, 2014 through October 27, 2014. On October 28,
2014, Denovus received a phone call that we were contacting a wrong number.
3.    
During the October 28th
phone call, we were advised that the party that we were attempting to contact
was not a that phone number. The Denovus representative removed the phone
number from our system.

This procedure has been in place for six years and we have successfully removed thousands of incorrect numbers. We investigated the specifics of Mr. [redacted]’ complaint and identified the source of the problem. There are steps in place that are necessary to complete the removal process. They are: (1) By using the keypad of your phone please enter the ten digit number we called; (2) You have entered (recording reads the number entered back to the person on the line); and (3) If this is correct please press one (1), otherwise press two (2) and re-enter. If the party presses one (1) because it is the correct number, they will be advised that the process is complete and the number will be removed in two (2) business days. offer to my address : [redacted]I do not live In The US for almost 2 years now, however I do get mail at that address than can be forwarded to me, I also do not have an an American phone number. The last time I was in America is when I tried to resolve this matter but it didnt happen fast enough. I will be coming back in the coming year and would like to  resolve this issue.

I would seriously challenge the representative's confidence in the Denovus phone system.  I encountered a couple of issues with their phone system, which I will be happy to (re)iterate here...1. My number was not removed after multiple attempts of entering my phone number correctly.  If their system is logging that a different number was entered, I would seriously consider this as a software defect.2. My call was disconnected by their system after a) selecting the prompt to speak to a Denovus representative, and b) receiving audio confirmation that my call would be forwarded.That being said, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and I have not received any more calls for more than 2 business days.  This issue can be closed.

Review: I do not nor have I had any collection problems. My voicemail CLEARLY states my name. This company has left 2 voicemails to call them. I am not in questionable standing with any bills or obligations.

Review: They have continued to call for my daughter at least every day since September 22nd, sometimes two or three times per day.This is harassment.. My daughter does live here or even speak to me so it is understandable that I am not a point of contact. I highly doubt that their allegations are valid, and they need to follow the statutes outlined in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They can send her a validation of their allegations via certified mail as required by law.They need to stop calling and not to forward her name or my number (###-###-####) to any one else. However, they have not provided any additional information via mail, nor does my credit report indicate any outstanding debt. Whenever I look up account information related that phone number, my name is not the one that is listed. I have attempted to remove my number via their automated system twice over the last week, and while the system says it will take 2 business days for the calls to cease, that promise has gone unfulfilled.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome is for Denovus to stop contacting me immediately at ###-###-####.

Review: Dear Madam or Sir: This complaint is regarding an unknown alleged claim.

It has been several months that I have been getting phone calls from this company via an automated system which has created a lot of disturbance to me and my family. This company calls my number and never leaves any valid message regarding the reason of their phone calls. In an attempt to see what is the reason of the calls I called the company and was on hold for almost 15 minutes and due to too much wait and no response I had to hang up. As of the date of this complaint the phone calls are continuing. This company is in clear violation of so many laws including but not limited to the FDCPA. Apparently this company is a debt collector but I have never received any notice from them that I could dispute the validity of any claim based upon the FDCPA Section 809(b). Please assist me in this matter which will be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: This company MUST stop these abusive phone calls and Cease and Desist their activities. if they have any claim they must do it in writing. I do not have any contractual obligation to this company.

Review: We have been receiving calls from the Denovus Corporation every day for three weeks regarding something we have no idea about. They have never sent anything by mail to show us who we owe a debt to. By law, we believe that they are required to notify us by mail who is trying to collect a debt. Until they can prove we owe a debt (which we don't) they are flat out harassing us.Desired Settlement: Stop calling us or contact us by mail of who is saying we owe them money.
