I am fully aware of the time it takes for a bone to heal I have had transplant prior to coming to Dr***’s dentistry The canceling and changing my appointments is frustrating He has full a page of massive advertising in the newspaper, recruiting new implant patientsI sense that new patients are being used to take my appointments and they push me aside to get the new business Just this past Friday I had an appointment for Sept12th at 11:AM When I entered the Dental office and signed in I was asked by the office lady what was I doing there because my appointment was for 2:PM? This is in response to Mr. [redacted] rebuttal:

We are diligenlty working on finishing Mr. [redacted]' case, even calling in our Lab Technicion to be present at his previous appointment.  It is a complicated case due to patient's resorbed ridge and we are trying to salvage his old implants. We are doing our utmost best to finish the case to the patient's satisfaction and above the standard of care.

Thank you.

Review: I contracted with a dentist,[redacted] DDS. In early February 2014 for dental implant work. I was told by Dr. [redacted] that it would take about 6 months to complete. From the very beginning the I complained about the xrays taken and later on the impressions taken was a disaster. Another time the technician left the goo in too long and it took a couple of workers about 5 minutes to get the impression out. I was told it's okay .." go home". However one of my crowns in my mouth was missing. It was stuck to the impression. Dr. [redacted] came in and told me it's okay we'll cement the crown back. Dr. [redacted] in the future he would perform that work himself. Starting in June my appointment dates kept being changed. I showed for one appointment and the dental asst. and another dentist asked me why was I there? Dr. [redacted] wasn't in the office. No body knew what to do, so I went home. July 2nd I saw Dr. [redacted] and complained and he apologized. He said his asst. will call me personally for my next appt. July 16th I called his office and wanted to know when my next appt. was scheduled. I was told by the clerk that they were busy and will call me back. Nobody called. In March, Dr. [redacted] gave me his Home phone # to call if I had a problem. On July 18th,I was now angry and called him to ask when he was going to give me an appt. date. He wasn't home and never returned my call. today, is July 21st. He originally said it would take about 6 months. I am not complaining about how long it is taking, I would just like an appt. date. He has been advertising heavily in the past couple of months so he is probably getting a lot of new business, which is all right with me but don't ignore the old patients. I am 86 yrs. old and gave him $5000. As incompetent his staff is, I would like him to honor our agreement. I am a very alert and in good health individual and I know what I am writing. Please help. Thank you! [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want Dr. [redacted] to live up to our agreement and would like this complaint to go on record and let other patients be aware of the conditions at Dental 2000

Response:

We do apologize for any confusion at Mr. [redacted]' appointments. But we are currently working with the patient and his treatment is ongoing. The nature of his treatment calls for a certain amount of time to pass for the bone to heal before we can finish his treatment. We are in the final stages of his treatment.

Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am fully aware of the time it takes for a bone to heal. I have had 4 transplant prior to coming to Dr. [redacted]’s dentistry 2000. The canceling and changing my appointments is frustrating. He has full a page of massive advertising in the newspaper, recruiting new implant patients. I sense that new patients are being used to take my appointments and they push me aside to get the new business. Just this past Friday I had an appointment for Sept. 12th at 11:30 AM. When I entered the Dental office and signed in I was asked by the office lady what was I doing there because my appointment was for 2:30 PM? I asked, “ Are you changing my appointment again? She said I was wrong, my appt. was for 2:30 PM. I showed my appointment card from their office, showing my appointment was for 11:30 AM and didn’t appreciate my coming back at 2:30 and having them change my time once again. I assume she spoke with Dr. [redacted] who was performing implant surgery, probably with a patient who was taking my appointment time and told me to wait around and they will take me in within the hour. I didn’t leave his office until 3:10 PM. I am really at their mercy, because I had to Pay all the money ( $5000) before he started my implant work in early February. Why am I filing this complaint? Hopefully I can help others who may be contemplating having implant procedures at Dental 2000. My original complaint has more specifics. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Review: I paid for a cleaning and doctor refused to provide the service

Review: I went to this dentist to fill a cavity. They told me I also needed a cleaning. OK.. I had to prepay for all services on my credit card. I went and had the filling done. Not happy with the outcome.( I have to get my cavity refilled by another dentist) . I called and cancelled the appointment for my cleaning. That was 2 months ago. They will not give me my credit. They advised they are pending to see what my insurance covers. I already received a letter from my insurance. I caled again still I get the run around and no credit.Desired Settlement: I just want to be credited for a service I did not receive. I did my due diligence. I called them 1 week in advance to cancel my cleaning. Nothing more.. THEY LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. NOT ONLY THAT, I also REFERRED A PATIENT [redacted] and she SPENT %30000.00 ON HER MOUTH IN ADVANCE. When I called for my credit I was told stop worrying you are not paying interest for 6 months on the card.

Business

Response:

I spoke to the patient personally and was able to resolve the issue and refund the monies due to her last week
