Firs and foremost we sincerely apologize for any miscommunication there may be When you first came into our office June [redacted] recommended that both upper and lower dentures be done together but at the time you said you only wanted to do the upper dentures We have warned you numerous times the effects of only completing the upper dentures but did as you requested In order to complete your case we have to go through a three step process of sending it to a lab for impressions, then we get a wax up with teeth and then send it back again for the final dentures We received your wax up with teeth back on July 8, and you were scheduled for the on August 2, but never showed up Since then we have called numerous times and after months of waiting we had to put your case in storage It was not until May 24, did we hear from you again in regards to your case During that time you broke two teeth that we had to remove and then adjust your impressions again and send it to the lab you have not finished paying us your total of $but because we trusted you we paid the lab for their services first When you came back to us a year after taking impressions and losing two of your teeth your bone structure has changed immensely There is no way [redacted] can predict how your dentures will fit after not seeing you for a year After taking two impressions the lab informed us that if it does not fit again there is nothing that they can do at this point When [redacted] took your impression on that day and it still did not fit there was nothing he could do [redacted] then informed you that he can do your dentures but you would be wasting your money because it will not fit properly without the bottom denture We have invested our time and efforts in order to help you, we were forced to pay the lab for the efforts as well We only charged you a $fee because that is what the lab will not refund us We split the cost with you and refunded back the rest of your payment because we could not help you We cannot refund you another $because during this time we have already paid off the lab for a case that we will not get paid for either We have done everything that we can in order to help you and we apologize but we cannot refund you anything else We wish you the best and hope you can find another dentist who can help you

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] is the dentist, not me.I was NOT told the denture wouldn't fit without the bottom and I clearly said I couldn't afford it and would get them at a later date. The dentist went ahead and waited until the second fitting to get an attitude and tell me he couldn't make the denture. Very unprofessional and I would like my $200 dollars back, I shouldn't have to pay for his mistake.
