Review: On October *, 2012, I went for dental work. Prior to my appointment, the office had already been aware that my divorce was final in August of 2012. They informed me that they were going to look into my dental coverage due to the change in my marital status. I was then informed on what I had to pay . I came in to the dental office and had work done and paid the bill in full at the time of service. Then I went back in August of 2013 and had more dental work done and I was told that the total bill was in the amount of $1,*06.00. The office had checked with my insurance and estimated that I would pay $353 and that my insurance would pay $1,353.00. I signed a form agreeing to that payment and scheduled the work to be done. After the work was performed, I was charged approximately $1,300.00 for the work they said would be approx $353. It was at that time they informed we that they were not in network with my insurance company and that I was only covered prior because of my ex wife's insurance. I was never informed at any point that they were not contract with just my insurance company after I no longer had my ex wife's insurance . I was then handed a additional bill for $3641.00 that they said was not covered from my 10/** bill. They said they went and they billed my ex-wife's insurance that money and I wasn't covered . They were fully aware that I was divorced and what insurance I had .They told me they checked back then and now they tell me I wasn't covered one year later.Desired Settlement: I don't feel that I should pay anything for the 2012 bill other than what was already payed and I agreed to pay back then.

I feel the 2013 bill should have been closer to the $353.00 that they said they checked my insurance with and was the approx amount to be payed not $1,353.00 they handed me. I understand the $353 was a approx and I am willing to pay something in that range because that amount is what I was told would be approximate. After all they are the ones that checked to see what I would be paying.
