Dental Care of Bellevue

Prior to setting up a dental appointment I called and asked about setting up an appointment to get a cleaning, exam, and etc. But I wanted to ensure they took my insurance Active Duty Tricare. They immediately stated they took tricare and that I was covered. So I willing set up an appointment and recieved dental work. I went to 3 or 4 appointments to get work done and had to get 2 crowns put on my teeth. I was made unaware the whole time my insurance actually didnt cover until the last appointment. The dental office made the excuse that yes they took tricare but it was tricare reserve. So I'm sitting in a dental chair with my temporary crowns off and they want to know if I want to continue putting the permanent crowns on at this time. I already was upset because I was promised that my insurance covered the previous work done but then I felt held hostage like they already have my permanent crowns and removed my temporaries it's to the point of no return. Then I was promised that they would file an appeal on my behalf to try ensure I didnt have to pay anything. I agreed to that. A month or so goes by and I'm getting billed for services so I call and I was told that they tried making the appeal but was denied. Then they said if worse comes to worse I would only need to pay half and they would pay the rest if they tried to appeal again and it didnt go through. Last week I received another phone call and text telling me payment is due. When I call the office and explain the situation they are like let me talk to the person in charge of your case and give you a call back. I recieved no call back but then I recieve a bill in the mail telling me payment is due. I had previously tried paying the half in March or June and they said they were still working the appeal and to see what happened. Now I feel they are trying to bill me without holding to the original agreements.I dont feel like I should be reliable for any of it in the first place. It's not my fault they made the insurance mistake.
