I write in response to the recent complaint filed by **. [redacted] on November !A 2013 regarding the promotional materials received from our office. At Dental Care of Springfield; we strive to provide each of our patients with the highest quality health care experience possible and take pride in committing to each patient’s oral health. As a result, we take any patient complaint or concern very seriously.

In response to **. [redacted]’s concerns, our office partners with the United States Postal Service to participate in a program called Every Day Direct Mail (EDDM). This program focuses on mailing promotional materials to targeted areas rather than utilising a specific mailing list. Unfortunately, we are unable to remove **. [redacted] from this program since a mailing list is not utilized, and have received recommendations from the United States Postal Service to have **. [redacted] contact them directly to be removed from this campaign and future mailings. As a courtesy to **. [redacted], we have partnered with our Regional Marketing Manager to contact **. [redacted] directly to provide additional information regarding the removal process but he has been unsuccessful in reaching **. [redacted].

In. addition, this program is designed to share one mailer per household in the targeted area so if **. [redacted] did receive more than one mailer at his residence in the same day, we would value the opportunity to learn more about this concern so we can partner with bi$ local post office to ensure the program is being implemented as intended.

We sincerely apologize that **, [redacted] had to go to this length in order to have his concerns addressed.
