Review: I need a refund for the following 2 dates of service please. I have spoken to my insurance ([redacted]) and they confirmed that Dental Elegance, being a [redacted] dentist, has previously agreed to a discount. This amount is shown as the ‘Fee Adjust’ column in my Explanation of Benefits and as such, I am only required to pay what is shown in the ‘Patient Payment’ column.
1) 7/29/2014: Paid $543 but only required to pay $468--$75 overpayment.
2) 10/28/2014: Paid $160 but only required to pay $72--$88 overpayment.
This brings the total owed/contracted amount to $540, and since I paid $703 total, that leaves a $163 balance.
I have receipts and EOB statements.Desired Settlement: $163 refund for overpayment.
