We used to go to KOP dental office for teeth cleaningRecently we moved to Ambler and we tried to find a local dental officeI called this dental office and gave my dental incurance to make sure they accept my dental insurance before I make an appointmentThey told me that they accept the insurance, so we went thereThis is a routine teeth cleaning for my teenage daughterAfter the cleaning they submitted us a bill for more than $I said they are supposed to send it to the insuranceThey said they don't accept the insurcance and they can send the bill to the insurance for meI felt I was totally deceivedIf they had told me that they did not accept my insurance I would not have gone thereBesides I have never receieved a routine teeth cleaning bill with so much money

I am in receipt of this complaint and I have to say that it is an outrageous accusation.  When I was told about this in March I immediately contacted ** [redacted] and was told in no uncertain terms that they have no record of our office asking for a credit line increase.  We in fact do...

not even file to open accounts or increase credit lines with them.  We ask that the patients do this on there own.  That is [redacted]s rules and regulations.  We had contacted the patient and told her that we had nothing to do with the inquiry and that we had contacted [redacted] to ask them as well.  She would not here of it and hung up on us.
This is an egregious complaint that is totally unfounded.  I ask that you remove this from my record immediately as we had tried to explain this to [redacted] but she would not listen, take our word for it, or contact [redacted].  What she is implying is unethical and would never be tolerated in our office.

They said they don't accept the insurcance and they can send the bill to the insurance for me. I felt I was totally deceived. If they had told me that they did not accept my insurance I would not have gone there. Besides I have never receieved a routine teeth cleaning bill with so much money.
