Review: My mother, who is 82 years old, has been a patient at this dental office for years. She is in the process of getting fitted for dentures and went to the first of five visits to complete the work. On May [redacted] 2014, my mother was fitted for a molding for the dentures. We were informed that it would take five visits total, and on the fifth visit she would have her dentures. She was scheduled to go for the second visit on Wednesday, June [redacted] at 11:30. She arrived at the location as she had many times before but this time the doors were locked and there was a "For Rent" sign on the door. I called the office ###-###-#### several times but I got a message that says "Your account has been temporarily suspended. Please press star to route your call to customer service". When I pressed the star key, I got the same message over and over again.

I don't know what to do as my mother's records are now in limbo and I don't know how to find the Company to get them. They also took x-rays which are necessary for any new dentist she visits to see so that they can fit her for her dentures, but her insurance has already paid for them and she will have to pay out of pocket to have new x-rays taken. The dental office also did the molding on her first visit and could potentially bill the insurance Company for the service rendered. That is a problem because my mother, once again, would need to have this done at any new dentist but she will have to pay out of pocket as her insurance will not pay twice for the same procedure.

All I'd like is to get my mother's records so that we can move on to a new dentist. This dental office had many patients and I am sure they are in the same predicament. They sent no notices or made any phone calls informing us that they have gone out of business.Desired Settlement: At this point, all we would like is to get my mother's dental records. She has been a patient for many years and has had a lot of work done recently in connection with the preparation for her to get dentures. We need the records so that we don't have to pay again for services that this company provided but are no longer of any use to them as they are closed. I'd also like to make sure they don't bill the insurance company for the initial molding as they are not going to provide the dentures and she will have to be fitted again at any new dentist office she visits. I'm hoping that your office can help to resolve this issue.
