I am very disappointed in Dental Wellness Center in Green Bay WI for many reasons. First and foremost, they put a permanent crown on a tooth that I later found out needed a root canal on. Now I have already paid for one crown and will have to pay for a second one after the root canal. Also, they made PRE-PAY for services in order to "secure your appointment." This was not a smart thing to do on my part however, I feel I was taken advantage of. I am also dealing with Dental Wellness charging me $380 for sedation for a future appointment and when I canceled that appointment they still charge my credit card! They are just sales people at this dental office. Trying to persuade you into so much dental work that I found out I never even needed. I am still trying to get my $380 back from them, if I am unable you will see a complaint against them through the Revdex.com.
I had a similar experience as [redacted]. My husband and I went to him after receiving a postcard for low cost cleaning. My husbands teeth needed work so that was my plan to get him to the dentist and get his teeth fixed. My teeth were kept up with cleanings at [redacted] as I didn't have insurance for several years. I had a few small cavities that needed fillings. My husband needed alot of work. I put off my fillings but my husband started treatment right away. He had 3 teeth pulled and several fillings over 6 months. Approximately $6000 in work. In January I had a tooth break that had a previous filling in it. I got in to see [redacted] and recommended a root canal and crown. I had just been in a couple months before and this isn't a tooth that he said needed work. So I was leary of his treatment plan at a cost of $1500. Of course they wanted to schedule the next appointment right away but I said I was going to get a second opinion. Julie the office girl/manager immediately flipped a switch and went from fake to nasty. I went back to my previous dentist and I only needed a filling. It is a tooth that may need to be pulled down the road but was told a root canal and crown would not be a suggested treatment option. I posted a reasonable, honest review on their Facebook page and received a certified letter from their office requesting that I remove the post within 7 days. Needless to say, my husband and I are no longer patients at this office. I agree that they use high pressure sales tactics and prey on people who are in need of immediate dental care.
