They charge a BS "processing fee" of basically 20% of the total plan cost! ($20) just to process? That's crazy and basically the fleecing of America in the cap hidden fees! I'M done with companies that pull this Cancel for the principle or they'll just keep doing it! ***

Do to insurance prices going up at work, we decided to go with the DentalPlans Cigna planIt had our dentists listed that the family uses and stated that routine cleanings would be greatly discounted at around 80-90% off However, after arriving at the dentist with my sons, I was confronted that in fact I would have to pay $per childThey didn't have x-rays or fluoride treatment, just basic cleaningI was planning on paying out around $45-$per child, not twice thatLuckily my dental insurance had failed to cancel so I was able to pay $instead of the "great discount" of $I can't imagine there would be any discount for any kind of other services like fillings or worseI don't see how any one would get there money back through their plans

The advertised discounted fees on the Dentalplans.com website for their Cigna and Aetna plans are inaccurate and misleading They publish low discounted rates to persuade you to purchase their plans I bought the Cigna plan and had to pay much more at the Dentist than what they had advertised It is a "Bait and Switch" The actual discount that you receive at the Dentist, which is based on the contracted rates they have with Cigna or Aetna, is either a) very small, b) no discount, or c) in some cases, you have to pay more

FIRST, I HAD THE DENTIST CHARGING MORE WITH THE DISCOUNT THAN OTHER DENTIST CHARGED WITHOUT, BUT HERE'S WHAT REALLY ANNOYED ME
I STARTED GETTING CALLS FROM DENTALPLANS ABOUT MONTHS BEFORE MY PLAN EXPIRED, NO BIG DEAL THERE, BUT THEN ABOUT A MONTH BEFORE MY PLAN EXPIRED, I GOT A CHARGE FOR ANOTHER YEAR IT TURNS OUT THEY AUTOMATICALLY RENEW WITHOUT ASKING OR SENDING YOU NOTICE THAT THEY ARE GOING TO I NEVER EVEN ASKED WHY THEY WOULD CHARGE ME DAYS EARLY, BUT IN GETTING MY REFUND - WHICH TOOK ALMOST DAYS TO GET; THEY CHARGED ME $ SO THEY CHARGED ME WITHOUT ASKING, I CALL BEFORE THE ORIGINAL PLAN HAS EVEN EXPIRED AND THEY CHARGE ME $TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

I was looking for United Concordia insurance and somehow landed on idental's websiteI checked this company's website to see if my dentist accepted their plan; she was listed as a providerWhen I returned to my dentist, I found out what they had given me was a discount package, not insuranceI complained on July 2nd after I found out that my dentist does not accept that discount package and was told I could switch and they would call me with a quoteI did not hear from anyoneNow they refuse to do anythingI paid dollars for nothingI cannot use a discount plan, even though their site said my dentist accepted itThis is a scam as far as I am concerned and I will tell everyone to avoid the idental scam at all costs

I signed up for one Year to see how it works and I got $discount from any dentist including from their networkI choose a dentist from their website so I can have a discountDid not workWast of money

BEWARE IF YOU SIGN UP FOR THEIR DISCOUNT PLAN - THEY WILL AUTO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT Once you are a member, the default settings in your account are set to auto renew using your credit card data You will receive an email thanking you for your renewal - that is the only 'warning' you get from them - they certainly don't contact you PRIOR to charging your card to verify if you wish to continue using their service

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone Their employees are completely incompetent and lie I had an issue with my payment when I first signed up a month ago, I have called about times and each time each employee assured me the problem was fixed and each time I called that employee told me there was no record of anyone saying where my issue would be fixed This last "supervisor" told me the only record of an issue was the very last person I spoke to but nothing was done (again) to fix the issue Each time I called they told me my account would be fixed in 5-business days, It's still NOT fixed and the "supervisor" *** told me, my account just slipped through the cracks and I would have to wait 5-business days AGAIN, so we'll see if he is a liar or not in 5-business days Each and every person that I have spoken to LIED So in my experience they are not a reputable company Again I would NOT recommend this company

THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM!!! Their website shows discounted fees on the Dentalplans.com website for Cigna of 40% to 58% off for basic procedures in my SPECIFIED zip-code, then click through to select a good DDS. So you join, make an appt with a DDS from their list tailored to you -- and you get an ONLY a 10% discount! I think customers need to report them to the Fed.Trade.Comm, they offer 58% discount and provide ONLY 10%. This is a simple case of FALSE and MISLEADING advertising. They did not deliver what they offered pure and simple. Do not use this vendor, you will be badly disappointed.

Our lawyer doesn't charge a fee unless he collects. Let's COLLECT. They took my $ for a service which they have not provided.

I joined DentalPlans on 2014. I actually needed a dental insurance till I get one from my work place. I didn't have much chance to use it, but it was o.k. because I was the one to join DentalPlans.
Two years later, on 5/24/16, I noticed an e-mail from DentalPlans, and it says "This email serves as confirmation that your membership renewal has processed successfully.", and I was not sure why I received the e-mail. I called the telephone number listed, and I learned DentalPlans charged 2015 and 2016 from my credit card.
I explained, and they promised me to refund the fee of the policy starts 5/24/16, but refused to refund last year's fee. I didn't know they took over $200 from my credit card, and absolutely I used zero. I was told they renew automatically, and absolutely I had no memory I agreed automatic renewal because I had no need to renew DentalPlans policy.

However, after arriving at the dentist with my 3 sons, I was confronted that in fact I would have to pay $90 per child. They didn't have x-rays or fluoride treatment, just basic cleaning. I was planning on paying out around $45-$50 per child, not twice that. Luckily my dental insurance had failed to cancel so I was able to pay $0 instead of the "great discount" of $270. I can't imagine there would be any discount for any kind of other services like fillings or worse. I don't see how any one would get there money back through their plans.
