I am rejecting this response because: I am looking at the original invoice provided by dental works that shows the TOTAL amount to be charged This is the total BEFORE ANY insurance claims are made You can't decide later to just charge whatever you want

Hello! So sorry for the delay in response, I was out of the office.  I remember this patients phone call a couple of weeks ago, we were able to help research his EOB for him from his dental insurance company & it clearly stated that he owed his dental provider the $14.01 in which we...

did not originally figure that.  I even had a corporate employee take a look at his account to ensure I didn't miss something. (Melanie S[redacted]) She also saw that the EOB stated that & said that the patient owes the $14.01 as stated by his dental insurance.  With some of these insurance companies it is sometimes easy to estimate on an incorrect fee schedule or a similar fee schedule but in the end the insurance company ensures the correct fees are being charged as per the patients agreement with them. Hello, I have just received this message & will research all activity related to this when I am back in the office tomorrow.  All of our claims with proper attachments are sent out each night for that days services so I will research what the issues are tomorrow & report....
