We regret the complaint filed against us as this has never happened in over thirty years of practice We treat all individuals with dignity and respect The underlying complaint was about money and co-pays which ultimately are between the patient and the insurance carrier We provide dental services and as a courtesy submit those services to be paid by the insurance carrier We strive to make that service as seamless as possible, but sometimes, as in this case, we can not be perfect When the patient brought her concerns to us regarding the charging or not charging of co-pays at the time of service, we contacted Regence to find out what our responsibilty is towards rectifying the situation After we audited her account, we found that she did over pay on some of the co-pays and reimbursed her for those We went back further than and have refunded her appropriatelyShe is welcome to her detailed financial records which will show her that insurance did not pay for everything in full and that whether she paid her co-pay at the time of service or not, she would still have a balanceIn addition, we regret that Ms [redacted] feels that dental services were inappropriate, per her clincial chart, she has more restoration that needs to be adressed Professionally,Theodore B [redacted] DDS

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
First of all, excuse me?? NO, they have not gone past 2014 due to my insurance carrier does not go past 2 yrs, so they did not. I got 4 copays back, $25 and $75 checks.  I had 4 visits in 2014 and 2015. I had credits before and they disappeared.  It was not until I contacted my insurance carrier to find out the procedure to finding out how to receive my overpayments.  They investigated and finally Dr B[redacted] office took me serious.  but only back to 2014.  This started when I questioned why Brenda was called out of her office during my visit to help Dr B[redacted] with his patient, she was gone for almost 15 minutes and when I questioned her, she has had nothing but tantrums ever since. Next visit, she purposely spent almost 10 minutes with her receptionist or accountant finding out what not to do with my appt.  That was just rude and last time I set foot in that office.  I tried to explain to her, time goes fast, did I time her, yah, cuz I know my teeth did not get much of a cleaning those last 2 times like I got before, however, I did once again get the order "Here, swish this in your mouth for 60 seconds" I asked Brenda what was this, she said just swish.  Really. That was an additional charge and yes, I complained about it. I specifically by now told them DO not take extra xrays, do not give me anything other than cleaning/xrays of what my insurance pays for.  So yes, they dropped those charges, apologized, but in 2015 did not do xrays, and I now wonder if they got paid for them.  I was like, you don't need them, we now judge by how your teeth look. So really, Dr B[redacted] is saying I need work done, its none of his business at this point.  Did he tell you he put some thin line of something on my upper left tooth that put my bite off, I complained of that for many yrs.  It was like he was doing something when he was filling a cavity to purposely mess up my bite. I would also warn people he gets a bit too close in touchy feel on the shoulders.  first time he did it, I was like, no, that was an accident, 2nd time, I moved my position, there was no 3rd time he was ever that close other than someone in the room with me and he only looked in my mouth.  His latest whining was how bald he was getting. I complimented him to his insecurity of nice color.
So now it's courtesy to charge my insurance company. Pretty obvious Dr B[redacted] prefers cash payments, maybe a full audit is in order.  I had credits and remember back when my sons insurance did not carry him longer and asked to put my credit towards his bill and my credit disappeared. My son got no deal as they said, a stranger walking in with cash would have paid 1/2 what he did for cleaning and xrays. My son refused to go to them after he found that out.  So what happened to my credits prior to I am guessing 2008 when he would have turned 21 and all those yrs of copays.
Plus, Dr B[redacted]s employees constantly complained to me of him raising their insurance rates.  He decided to start taking xrays in addition to normal ones saying we are checking for cancer.  those were the charges they dropped since my insurance did not pay for them, that and the swish this nonsense.  I refused to pay.  So they politely cancelled the charges, but tried to get them when they resubmitted claims for 2014 and 2015 prior to paying me 2 yrs of copays. Where is the other many yrs.
and the FACT that she told me, the accountant, that I would have the $75 check prior to xmas so I could donate to the local food bank, she did not do so,  I recalled her after the first of the year and reminded her, don't you owe me something?  that was purposely rude.
I have no intentions of going back to people who make mistakes, they make them to me, they make them to others.  Funny how they responded after this case was closed and are not even a Revdex.com member.  Ridiculous don't you think. I have moved on, they need the $$ more than I did.  It's the principle they can't admit to making mistakes and are now saying what they do.
Just let the public know on record, something is odd with this company and it started around year 2008, maybe sooner, maybe not, but I Have no desire to be manipulated, or taken advantage of anymore.  If they don't want to work with insurance companies, they need cash only. that's usually how fraud happens.
