The answer is simple to me and any other person in my profession with common senseCustomer fully admits to hooking up her water hose the afternoon of the day we applied sealer, customer takes responsibility for the ugly milky white stain that appeared under water faucet due to her inability to follow instructionsCustomer was made very aware that allowing water onto uncured sealer would cause splotches and stainsCustomer likes to tell me and anyone who will listen what the temperatures should be when applying sealer, the manner in which it should be applied and anything else that sounds good to her, yet never reminds anyone that manufacturer of sealer and the contractor she hired to apply the sealer (me) told her to let sealer COMPLETELY dry before getting water on itCustomer is under the impression that if you squeeze a water hose nozzle, 100% of the water coming out of the nozzle will travel in a tight stream and land fully on what nozzle is being aimed atCommon sense tells MOST people that when you squeeze a water nozzle, some water squirts to the side, and a mist flows all aroundCustomer admits to watering her flowers that day, and ironically, the areas she is unhappy with are in the areas of the flowers she watered! No flowers were watered around sidewalk and what do you know, she is happy with the sidewalk! Customer likes to state she paid $12,That's awesome, thank you! With the additional work she added, estimate reached almost $15,000! With all the dump fees paid (another example of her research had us traveling further than we contracted for to save her money, which in turn cost us more money in fuel and labor! However, we did this to please her),labor paid, concrete paid, equipment, tools and fuel paid, taxes paid, insurance premiums paid, materials and labor and fuel going back several times to try to fix her mess paid, I've spent over $15,000, and still haven't been paid the final payment of over $2600, as promised by her in numerous emailsWe have the pleasure of serving an average of residential customers per year, and in the last years, I've had customers complainThe similarities in the customers are uncanny, they could be related they are so similarOf the approxcustomers served in the last years, complainI can handle the fact that you can't please everybody, but to have a poor rating due to customer's inability to follow simple instructions, and then lie about it is a bit much! In response to your letter dated 8/20/in regard to a complaint submitted by *** *** on 7/25/15, I wish to record the following rebuttal.BR Superior Enterprises, LLC completed a decorative stamped concrete job for Ms***, however, Ms*** failed to comply with the directions
communicated to her She watered her plants on the deck above the stamped work which dripped into the patio making it milky Also, she watered her grass and plants beside the driveway resulting in the same milky effect there as well BR Superior however, did have a few spots where the sealer ran of which we fixed Having said this, even though it was not faulty work done by my company, we fixed the entire job out of our pocket To date Ms*** failed to comply with our agreed terms and owes BR Superior Enterprises $for services rendered. We have been in business for years and have never failed to deliver quality work We stand behind it and if something is wrong we fix it! Please remove the rating you have based on one person's biase opinion as she is not a professional.Sincerely, Robin GlidewellBR Superior Concrete

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The business owner is incorrect in most of what he states and particularly in regard to this: "She knows she owes me the money, she knows we did a solid job, she knows she messed up and we fixed it." I do not owe money for a sloppy job, a solid job was not performed, I did not mess up nor did the business owner fix itAs I did in January 2016, I consider this matter closedThere can be no resolutionThe business owner should feel fortunate and thankful I paid him as much money as I did

In reference to the complaint by [redacted] against BR Superior Enterprises,  please see below...First of all let me address the customer comment that it took me a year to reply, I replied immediately after the complaint was made, never heard anything back, so, I was assuming that it had been taken care of.  On a whim, I looked at our company on the Revdex.com website, noticed that the complaint did not show my rebuttal.  Upon further research (of which I stated in my earlier rebuttal) I found that my email was undelivered and had an error.  Thus the reason that I sent the email a few weeks ago.  I will give a full recall of what happened and why. We showed up on the day we were supposed to, we tore out, hauled away and disposed of the existing concrete sidewalk, driveway and patio. We then regarded the entire job and fully compacted the subgrade. We formed, placed and finished the entire job in 1 day. While there, during down times, I even had my guys get on the roof of customers carport and remove fallen branches and twigs. I also had my guys do a lot of cleaning up of wooded area beside customers house as I hold my guys accountable to "leave it better than we found it". Customer continually states she is happy with the sidewalk, the sidewalk that was poured on the same day as the areas she's unhappy with, then sealed on the same day as the areas she is unhappy with. Customer is quick to state her obvious knowledge, or lack thereof, on how I applied sealer in an incorrect manner or on a day that wasn't correct or during a time when temperature was incorrect. Keep in mind, I poured all on the same day, then applied sealer to all on the same day. This poses the question, what went wrong? The answer is simple to me and any other person in my profession with common sense. Customer fully admits to hooking up her water hose the afternoon of the day we applied sealer, customer takes responsibility for the ugly milky white stain that appeared under water faucet due to her inability to follow instructions. Customer was made very aware that allowing water onto uncured sealer would cause splotches and stains. Customer likes to tell me and anyone who will listen what the temperatures should be when applying sealer, the manner in which it should be applied and anything else that sounds good to her, yet never reminds anyone that manufacturer of sealer and the contractor she hired to apply the sealer (me) told her to let sealer COMPLETELY dry before getting water on it. Customer is under the impression that if you squeeze a water hose nozzle, 100% of the water coming out of the nozzle will travel in a tight stream and land fully on what nozzle is being aimed at. Common sense tells MOST people that when you squeeze a water nozzle, some water squirts to the side, and a mist flows all around. Customer admits to watering her flowers that day, and ironically, the areas she is unhappy with are in the areas of the flowers she watered!  No flowers were watered around sidewalk and what do you know, she is happy with the sidewalk! Customer likes to state she paid $12,000. That's awesome, thank you! With the additional work she added, estimate reached almost $15,000! With all the dump fees paid (another example of her research had us traveling further than we contracted for to save her money, which in turn cost us more money in fuel and labor!  However, we did this to please her),labor paid, concrete paid, equipment, tools and fuel paid, taxes paid, insurance premiums paid, materials and labor and fuel going back several times to try to fix her mess paid, I've spent over $15,000, and still haven't been paid the final payment of over $2600, as promised by her in numerous emails. We have the pleasure of serving an average of 70 residential customers per year, and in the last 4 years, I've had 2 customers complain. The similarities in the 2 customers are uncanny, they could be related they are so similar. Of the approx. 280 customers served in the last 4 years, 2 complain. I can handle the fact that you can't please everybody, but to have a poor rating due to 1 customer's inability to follow simple instructions, and then lie about it is a bit much! We went out of our way several times to make customer happy, then realized that is an impossible chore. I pride myself in quality work and customer service, and am very proud and thankful that I have no less than 278 families that constantly refer me to other customers and more work. Customer can keep her money, if she can live with it I can live without it. She knows she owes me the money, she knows we did a solid job, she knows she messed up and we fixed it,  we just live in a world with people like that now. I did ALL that I was contracted to do and then some, and all at an agreed to price, customer is the one who defaulted, on payment AND on ability to follow instructions. I will not respond to any more of this nonsense, my grandfather taught me that arguing with an unknowing person only proves there are 2 of them. Let the record show, BR Superior Enterprises went above and beyond to satisfy the customer of which obviously is not going to happen.  We rendered services of which to date (over a year later) we still have not been paid the remaining balance for thus service.  We did our part, she did not!A note to the Revdex.com, I appreciate your help in this matter and I sincerely hope this will clear up any and all question about the quality of workman ship and integrity of my company and those that strive so diligently to please such customers.   Thank You, Robin GlidewellBR Superior Enterpises

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business did in fact return to attempt to resolve the problems...5 months later after ignoring emails from me upon receiving a letter from my attorney and two phone calls. The business is not being truthful regarding me causing spots on the concrete from watering plants. And, it is interesting to note that the business, in its response almost a year later, has further embellished their story by now adding “She watered her plants on the deck above the stamped work done by my company which dripped into [sic] the patio.” I did not water plants on the deck above. I believe these spots were caused, at a minimum, by insufficient sealant coverage during initial application when the worker ran out of sealant and said he would return to do another coat. The spots on the driveway to which the company refers are small pinpoint spots which I believe were caused by the sun essentially boiling the sealant because it was applied outside the temperature range recommended by the manufacturer (outside temps were >90 degrees during sealant application which was done second week of July 2015, mid-day and in full sunlight). Here are the manufacturer’s instructions: Substrate and air temperatures must be no less than 40F and not exceed 80F. If applied outside these limits the sealer may not achieve adequate film formation and may have excessive air entrapment, bubbles, blushing or hazing. Note that in direct sunlight, substrate temperature can exceed 150F which can cause extreme bubbling issues. Apply on cool, overcast days to avoid issues. Do not apply if the temperature is expected to achieve 85F or higher. Regarding the company fixing the spots where the sealer ran, also false. Those spots are still visible today. The company did an acceptable job on a sidewalk. Please note that I incurred attorney fees and I have already paid the company $12,000. Regards, [redacted]
