We received your letter regarding our complainant rejecting our response to their complaintI contacted our insurance company to see what the hold up wasThey were waiting for several weeks on an estimate from the complainant for the floor repairI was informed they received the estimate today, 4/5/From here I am not sure how this proceeds as far as if the insurance company will be issuing payment for the floor to the complainant or if they will be paying the flooring company directly. Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because: The matter has been handed over to your insurance company, however, it has yet to be repaired or paid for I still have yet to receive an apology from the company or even a phone call from the owner

Response:This customer is grossly misinformed about the way her extended warranty works. She purchased the warranty from *** so the terms and what she understands about them has nothing to do with our companyHer complaint about paying a monthly fee and then deductible is without merit
The contract she purchased from *** has a monthly feePart of her agreement is that for each service call she initiates she is responsible to pay a deductibleThe amount is determined by her warranty company, not usSo her complaint about a fee should be addressed with her warranty company. As for her repair, we do admit that after we were initially out, we mistakenly thought her unit was under the manufacturer warranty (meaning her extended warranty would not cover itWe do not do service for her manufacturer)Her refrigerator needs a sealed system repair which is generally under a year warrantyEven her warranty company made the same error at firstOnce we realized the error, we contacted the warranty company who again insisted it was still covered by the manufacturer, but we did explain the issue and they agreed to look further into itAt that time we gave them the list of parts we would need so if they determine that it is covered they can proceed with the approval processThey later came back and told us to proceed with the repairThe warranty company only covers very specific parts and services, which is outlined in the customer's contract/agreementPart of sealed system repair is handling freon, sometimes disposal of it and recovery of freon from inside the unit because it cannot be released freely into the environmentWe charge $for thatThe entire cost of her sealed system repair is upwards of $Her warranty company is willing to cover all of it minus the freon recovery fee of $Again, it is spelled out in her contract that she is responsible to pay all uncovered charges regarding her repairHer warranty company is aware of this fee and advised us that she is responsible for itWhen we advised the customer we could come complete her repair we were told emphatically NOWe advised her warranty company that she will not pay and they again confirmed it is her responsibility to cover that fee, they told us we are not required to do anything further

Just responding to the complaintwe received the call 7/10/11:39:customer customer selected, 7/TUE all day. on 8/10/at 13:JB: schdld cust for 8/TUE PM 12-we schdld the customer before we even received the partthe part was just delivered todaythe part was supplied by her
