Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Unsurprisingly the business owner takes no accountabilityExcuses are endlessWhether hired "subcontractors"; or "temps" were dispatched BY THE OWNER on 4/4/is of no fault or responsibility of the customerServices promised and advertised were NOT received (cheated minutes and overcharged) and thankfully in this day and age "smart phones" outsmart and record a business owner who breaches their own contractAgain this Revdex.com complaint was good faith effort to get resolve and resolution outside of courtConsidering the business owner's unintellible response, it's likely best to get a small decision rendered by/through judgment in small claims courtThe business owner can then explain his own recorded words to a judge and bring in any "sub-contractors"/ "temps" he hired on behalf of his business-Denver Discount MoversHopefully record of this Revdex.com complaint will be added to the others to clearly paint a picture of what one should expect Sincerely, [redacted]

Initial Business Response /[redacted]/
Ms [redacted] is right most of the stuff she complained about. She failed to mention that I hung up because I didn't want to argue with her and texting was a better option at that time . Yes we were late, I did have to get a rental to take care of...

her move, they did do the move, she had the opportunity to hire another moving service, but she chose to do it and they did it within 3 hours for $260.
The customer before Ms. [redacted] move told us that she had a 1 bedroom when we got there it was a 3 bedroom I explain that to Ms. [redacted] but she demanded a discount.
Buy me renting another truck had nothing to do with being late dealing with the first customer with the 3 bedroom miss quoted her move . my options were to do that move or cancel that move.
If I would have chose not to do the move the Revdex.com would be sending me a different complaint to answer to.
My question to her is did you want us to do your move free, they did the job and we were paid and that's it. Fair exchange is no robbery. I offered to buy her lunch for the inconvenienced, once again you can't make every one happy. Another thing how do you know I am a African-American you have never seen me and I have never seen you I wasn't at the move remember please don't use that card
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /[redacted]/
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First, I will address the comment how I know this man is black. He made a positive review on his own website about himself, and there is a picture of him. I also spoke to his workers, who are aware that my former husband was black, and I made the comment that just because I am white and he obviously doesn't know my husband was black, the owner must be under the impression that he can just run over me. They laughed and said, "Yeah, guess so." So the owners comment about "don't use that card", is rediculous.
As far as having the opportunity to hire another moving company, he is not correct. He knew that I needed to move that day specifically, and because of his delays, and this being an afternoon move, that opportunity was taken from me. It was suggested by Storagemaster's manager, that I try to call some of the reliable movers that they recommend, and after contacting several, they said it was too late in the day to arrange the move.
As far as the move previous to mine, it is clear that this owner does not go and look at what needs to be moved, or he would have been clear that that move would not be a short one. He expects me to carry the responsibility of his inactions and laziness, instead of taking responsibility of his business. Otherwise, he woudl have been aware of the extent of load. He told me that he "didn't need my money," and said the lady before me had already done 3 moves with him, and he needed her money. He then texted me that if he gave me a discount, than he couldn't pay his workers. I showed them the text, so they knew that he was not fiscally responsible and possibly could not pay them. They were very upset with him.
The comment,"fair exchange is no robbery" is an immature response for someone that owns a business. There was no "fair exchange" in this case, so robbery is what he did. He did not do anything agreed upon, at any point. He had a filthy truck, did not protect my belongings, did not have tools to assemble the beds, were 4 1/2 hours late, and demanded (with a threat to follow in a text message) to be paid prior to completing the job.
His comments just again show how unprofessional he is, and how his intent is only to scam people that need a service out of their money. My comments are accurate and reflect a blatant disrespect for the customer and business ethics.

Mr. [redacted]  you think you know about this company. The guys  are not my employees they are subcontracted.  I supply the work that is contracted to the guys. I didn't know that one of the guys caused a seen over at your place. I thought he was inside the work truck I'm truly sorry for that. The second guy left, not because of his pay but because the first guy was his ride home. please get your facts straight. It was 41/2 hours with 2 guys and 3 1/2 with the 3rd guy.  The third guy was heavier than the first two guys so yes running up 3 flight of stairs 31/2 hour straight moving furniture will get you  exhausted.

I am rejecting this response because: Unsurprisingly the business owner takes no accountability. Excuses are endless. Whether hired "subcontractors"; or "temps" were dispatched BY THE OWNER on 4/4/16 is of no fault or responsibility of the customer. Services promised and advertised were NOT received (cheated 35 minutes and overcharged) and thankfully in this day and age "smart phones" outsmart and record a business owner who breaches their own contract. Again this Revdex.com complaint was good faith effort to get resolve and resolution outside of court. Considering the business owner's unintellible response, it's likely best to get a small decision rendered by/through judgment in small claims court. The business owner can then explain his own recorded words to a judge and bring in any "sub-contractors"/ "temps" he hired on behalf of his business-Denver Discount Movers. Hopefully record of this Revdex.com complaint will be added to the others to clearly paint a picture of what one should expect.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:If we want to talk about lies and truths then at least be honest. Correct one guy quit due to working all day and being mislead by Robert. Robert told his team that this was a 1st floor to 1st floor move. Since he had been working all day and Robert told him that this was going to be a quick job he was very frustrated. He called Robert cursing screaming on the phone yelling several racial slurs in front of the entire complex and getting into an argument with one of my neighbors. Robert will probably point the finger to that worker saying that its his fault for getting angry and causing all of this commotion. Robert doesn't understand as being an owner of a company his employees represent HIS brand and are a reflection of HIM. Second worker quit because Robert made a comment about this pay and he then quit. The reason I am aware of this if because they decided to have these very loud arguments in front of my apartment complex in front of everyone. This team had only worked for 3 hrs and 30 mins (not 4hrs and 30mins) the agreement was 3 hours of work would cost $275 and $40 for every half hour after that. So really I got a $15 settlement for the hundreds of dollars of damage. I also have yet to see and actual copy of my agreement that I signed. He claims he brought 2 fresh workers, the problem is that one of the workers honestly has no business working in hard labor. He worked very hard hence the reason I had to tip all of these workers. The issue with this gentleman is that 1 he couldn't keep up so I actually stepped in and helped and 2 he could barely walk up the stairs. Again, nothing against that gentleman he worked as hard as his body let him and that's why I tipped him. The last statement made by Robert define's why he is a terrible leader and owner. He will never take responsibility for anything. "I wish customer would realize no one's prefect we only can do what we can do but one thing we do is go by contract", guess what Robert you run a professional moving company your job is to keep as much of the customers belongings in the same way you received them. Using a contract as a fail safe is a terrible way to run a business especially if that's the way you lead your employee's. Your basically telling them to damage product because you have a very favorable contract.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Initial Business Response /[redacted]/
[redacted] is right I quoted him a price from point A to point B $140. Was the price .
[redacted] kept calling me to get the guys out there because his guy had to get to the airport.
Keep in mind he called me that day at the last min to make this...

happen.
When he called to set this up my guys were out on a move prior to his move in a rental truck.
[redacted] kept calling me asking when are the guys going to be there so I decided to tell the guys go ahead and take the rental truck out there and do the job for [redacted].
Me and [redacted] had a agreement that they would take the rental truck out there to point A and park it and use there truck to go to point B so I wouldn't put anymore miles on the rental.
[redacted] Fail to tell his guy here in Colorado what we discussed, they ended up driving the rental truck to point B then to another destination point C way up in the mountains. After coming out of the mountains his guy followed us all the way to budget rental where we dropped off his truck and my truck which was a hour away from the mountains. Then I unloaded his blankets and straps and things into my personal vehicle and drove about 5 more miles to drop that off at U-Haul. At that time he did not have any problems giving me the money, he gave me more than what I had ask for. After dropping off the blankets I had to drive about 8 more miles to take his guy to the airport.
I'm sorry if you feel that you were cheated and by the way your total came out to $220. Your guy gave the other $40. As a tip to the guys that helped him.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /[redacted]/
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Why tell a customer you can be there at a certain time if you can't? You were 4 HOURS LATE. As far as taking a rental truck that's all on you but don't try and charge customers for the mileage when we didn't need a truck . What kind of "real company" does that? If this does not get resolved I will be more than happy to file a small claim lawsuit.
Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Clearly you can see how unprofessional he is. All I'm going to say is be happy I wasn't there! I will CONTINUE posting about your company. This is just the beginning.
Final Business Response /[redacted]/
You are in the moving business, why didn't you come out to Colorado and unload your rental yourself ?
It's because you're too lazy and you want someone else to do your job for pennies.
Remember this I can do a review on your company as well don't forget it. You are lazy and Unprofessional
