We were a few days late in removing any unsold items but were within the time framed allowed by the Liquidation Agreement which was business daysThere were trash bags left that did have lunch containers in them, we didn't want to put trash out on the street so animals would not get in the trash before the trash pickup came It was difficult to sweep and vacuum when someone was staying there The few items that were mentioned in this complaint that were left was two large bookcases, books and other items which were pieces of wood that were left in the basement Alisas sister had brought everything up from the basement without contacting us telling us that was being done so I did compensate them for their time taking books to [redacted] , bookcases and pieces of wood to the dump, I gave them $which I thought was more than fair. Not everything sells, many great things sold and many not so great things sold, no guarantee is ever given to what will sell and what won't Every item was treated with great respect and was seen on the website, pictures of everything in the house There were no complaints prior to the sale about the display from the client or the Realtor who made several visits prior to the sale and said it looked great The cashiers check was sent days late, sometimes things happen. Our advertising is consistent with every sale for the past years, our website gets 1000's of hits a week, our e-mail list is more than 7,peoplewe are a Gold Member of estatesales.net and their e-mail list is more than 5, We put an ad in the [redacted] as well as other on-line advertising We do post on [redacted] but sometimes it gets flagged because we are a business, we can't control that but keeping reposting it We also have a [redacted] page and post on that There were large Denver Gypsy Boys Estate Sale Banners (foot by foot) on the state highway at [redacted] as well as the NEON GREEN signs The client was NOT there for the sale so this is here say We do the same for every sale and nothing was done differently here As a matter of fact we ran 1,people through the sale as we have a counter that counts everyone that comes through the door. The oak dining room table was NOT marred and scratched The only items that were placed on that table were the high end pottery items that the client could see in the pictures prior to the sale and never complained about it We did bring in tables for display.Every time I got and email from this client after the sale there was some new complaint every time, it just never ended I did what I could do by compensating them the $ [redacted] ***Owner - Denver Gypsy Boys Estate Liquidators

I met with the clients on October 19,they were moving to a new residence and had many items they were not taking with them. I agreed to conduct the sale and was asked how much it may bring and my answer was I don't normally accept sales that are less than $8,in gross sales. We
did conduct the sale during a blizzard December - 18, 2016.As Estate Sales go you never really know what the sales will be, but after years of experience you have a good idea less any climate issues. It was a bad blizzard and we did the best we could under the circumstances. I would have loved to extend the sale because of the weather, but the home was sold and we had one day after the last sale date to have everything removed per the contract and the new home owner. All of the items that were included in the sale were big items with the exception of a few small items. It is not possible to keep track of every item that is sold and the amount, that is not cost effective or productive and explained during the initial interview. All components of the Liquidation Agreement were met including beginning day, sale dates, clean out dates and check dispursement days in the form of a Cashiers Check. The total amount of the sale was $4,less our 40% commission. There were a lot of time lines that we had to abide by, therefore not being able to extend the sale due to weather After years of being in business I am appalled by being told I stole money. *** ***Owner - Denver Gypsy Boys Estate Liquidators

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Mr***'s reply once again contains inaccuracies and is filled with poor excuses for failing to meet several key points in our signed agreement and assurances on the Denver Gypsy Boys (DGB) web site. The Denver Gypsy Boys did NOT remove anything until six days after the end of the sale, and when the buy-out crew departed leaving more behind than Mr*** lists, they made it clear to my sister they would NOT be returning. Only then did she move items upstairs to the garage. Although it might be difficult to sweep and vacuum with someone staying there, as Mr*** says, NO ONE was living in the house. My sister and her husband brought their travel trailer, as they were expecting only to water the lawn and other landscaping, do any final clean up before the sale of the house, and then camp in state parks before returning home. With no ad in the local paper (even if that was because the paper, according to Mr ***, "messed up"), problems with craigslit, and poor signage, I believe that advertising was NOT what was advertised on the DGB web site. The realtor Mr*** mentioned is eager to send a letter to the Revdex.com supporting my complaint if that would help. Also, I have a photograph I can send that shows MUCH more than high end pottery on the dining room table which WAS marred when my sister arrived five days after the saleAt least Mr*** agreed that the check was five days late ("sometimes things happen", another poor excuse), but I believe I received it only because I had to remind him.At this point, it is not about the money. After receiving a recommendation for the Denver Gypsy Boys (from someone who, by the way, says she will NEVER recommend them again), I looked at the Revdex.com rating for the Denver Gypsy Boys, and I noted that they included the Revdex.com logo on their web site and said that they had never had a complaintThat factored hugely into our decision to hire them My family feels an obligation to provide potential future DGB customers with more complete information with which they can make a decision when looking for an estate sale company. I urge the Revdex.com to consider revising the Denver Gypsy Boys rating. Thank you
Sincerely,
