Nov 4, 2017B.B.B. Received letter 11-2-17Re: ID #[redacted] - Five Star ElectronicsMy Rebuttal:I stand firm with all my statements, dates, time, etc. that I wrote on the B.B.B. form on Oct 8, 2017. I stated the truth!Five-Star Electronics advertised on my weekly church bulletin. They stated that they specialized in high quality TV & Appliance repair & maintenace.I called Five-Star Electronics on March 6, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. (I won’t repeat what I’ve already stated - see 1st letter). He came & agreed with me that it needed a new timer. That’s without turning it on - imagine that? How much? Where? He didn’t have the part. (see 1st letter for details). He never called me, he did charge me $65.00 for the 5-8- min viewing of my washer. He never gave me a quote for labor. He took my $65.00 & did Nothing! Where is the honor & integrity of this business person? It is troubling & sad that I trusted this guy.*. [redacted]
I went into the home to look at unit and verified it needed a timer I came back to shop and looked up the price of the part which was $150.24 for timer and 135.00 for labor and the 65.00 I charged her would go towards the bill. She said the timer was to expensive so I told her I would look on ebay...
so I found one so I bid on it but lost bid. So I told her I lost bid and that the repair would be 150.24 plus 135.00 labor and never heard back about repair. If she would of told me to fix unit it would of been done the same week. There is nothing else I could of done for her. If she wants the unit fixed she would have to pay the 150.24 for part.
