Again, we apologize for the human error $for a square foot home in Fallbrook certainly would be a great deal and we can understand the consumer's disappointment that this isn't the actual asking price We do have a responsibility to the home owner to get the market rent, however The typographical error was unintentional The correct rent was posted on the same date in another website (see attachment) and would seem to show that our intention was not to mislead the public, especially those who are service members, since the correct price was posted in a website that is intended for service members To clarify, no staff member of Spangler Realty showed the property to this individual, but rather, the individual was asked to drive by the property prior to scheduling.We would welcome the opportunity to show another available property to the individual if he is interested

The property in question was originally listed for rent at $3200 on 4/29/15, we lowered the asking price (erroneously  on two out of three websites to $2295 instead of $2995) on 6/15/15.  We caught the error and then corrected the ads on the  morning of 6/16/15 $2995 on the Spangler...

Realty website and [redacted].  [redacted] had been updated correctly the day before. The gentleman who called did not state the rent price when he called, but was quoted the correct security deposit amount based on his circumstances.  When he called the following day to schedule an appointment to view the property, we confirmed with him that he was aware of the correct rent price since we had become aware of the error in some (but not all) of the websites we advertise in.  He became understandably upset.  We apologized profusely to him for the error and attempted to explain the situation.  We have included copies of the advertisements from the 29th of April for [redacted] and Spangler Realty website showing the original asking price of $3200, as well as a 6/15 advertisement, which was correct for [redacted] (a military website), and then the corrected ads for [redacted] and Spangler Realty for 6/16.  Again, we profusely apologize for the misunderstanding. I spoke to them on speaker phone along with my wife and two friends I did confirm the price and the deposit we even went to look at it I feel like they lowered the price to attract interest then raised it back up
