This case is resolved
We take our customers concerns very seriously and we would like to sincerely apologize if there was any misunderstanding during the time of repairs. The vehicle was towed in from another shop, we diagnosed the vehicle. Our facility diagnosed the vehicle with a defective fuel pump, we called the customer and quoted them the price, they authorized to repairs. After the approved repairs were complete we test drove the vehicle miles. The vehicle at this point was skipping during the road test. We spoke with the customer regard additional repairs needed to their vehicle. The customer declined further repairs. The customer then came and picked up there vehicle. The customer was kept informed and authorized all repairs. The customer has no previous service history. At this point we see no further resolution

Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised:
We don't see any type of disability, this appears to be an economic concerns after the fact of the sale.  Consumer is welcome to call Tom R[redacted](###-###-####) next week and, Paul L[redacted] and I...

will meet with the consumer to see if there is anything we can assist her further.

I went to depaula seeking a used vehicle. Upon the first visit everything seemed to go well with this sales person named [redacted], he was very polite and energetic, the guy even made me coffee. He was concerned about my credit but believed that he could put me in this 2009 traverse. When I went back a few days later, supposedly to look at this vehicle and to hand in paperwork, we traveled to their second location where [redacted] pointed a few vehicles out to me. We didn't look in any or even start any up just walked by since he didn't have the keys on him. So after a brief walk through the parking lot we went inside their "war room" as he called it. Once inside the sales manager came in where, as I filled out paperwork, he turned the stereo on full blast and he, and [redacted] both, laughed about calling that branch the war room and how different it was than the main branch. After a few minutes of the nonsense, they went into the back office together and called me in a short time later. They then tried to talk me into a minivan, which I did not want, and then once again focused on the 2009 traverse. On my way home I get a call congratulating me, they caught the guy at the bank in a late night meeting, around 8pm, and got me approved I could pick the car up the next day, the day after at the latest. When the next day rolls around, suddenly, I'm not approved anymore, they need another 500 bucks in my down payment to secure the deal and I had better hurry because two or three other people were looking at it. I could not get another 500 bucks so then they just needed 250 more to secure the deal which I could not get either, I already gave them 1500. So when I still could not get that then I had to wait until the following Monday to let them try and convince the banks once again with what I had. So naturally I became very suspicious of our deal and felt like I was getting a weird run around. I at this time politely, and diplomatically, requested the deal be canceled while at the same time noting my concerns about the company practices and my concerns about how I was not even able to look at the vehicle that I was buying. The next day [redacted] calls me from his personal phone and chews me out on my voicemail for well over a minute, which I saved. I did not respond to him so later that day he sends me a text message from his personal phone telling me to check my email. He had sent me an email with a 2012 traverse claiming that this was the picture he originally sent me, on day one, like he was rubbing it in my face or something. I had never seen that vehicle before, and since I did not clean out my emails for well over a year I did a quick check to make sure that I wasn't mistaken but he sent me nothing of the sort. I of course replied to his message, once again very diplomatic, but I stressed the point that at this time I would rather walk 10 miles in the snow rather than buy a vehicle from him and thanked him for his time. The next morning I get a call with no caller ID, which I did not answer, a few minutes later [redacted] sends me a text message from his personal phone telling me that he had been in contact with local law enforcement, and my place of employment about me harassing and threatening him. I originally thought he said he was going to contact them so I told him to go ahead it wasn't harassment if I was replying to his message and in no way did I ever threaten him. A few minutes pass and another text message comes through saying "I'm serious I'm going to call the cops" which I did not respond to. A minute later another text comes through "Stop threatening me" and I didn't respond to that either but it was almost like he was trying to provoke me into something. I still have no idea what he was talking about or what his game is but I somehow do not think that this will be the last I will hear from him.... I would definitely beware of this place, something just isn't right there.

As previously
documented this isn’t just about my vehicle completely shutting down on the side
of the road after only owning it for 6 months. It’s about all of the issues I
have had in the short 7 months of owning my car. All the stress, time and money
that it has taken. The countless times I have been in loaner or rental cars the
countless times I have made trips down to the dealership, the countless times I
have had to take off of work to go to the dealership. When I went to buy a car
at DePaul I wanted a reliable vehicle for me and my kids, this car has been the
furthest thing from that.
Jason from the Blue service team did
call me and tell me that they found that my alternator was bad but I was told
that I had two options new or used and that neither was covered under my
warranty. Therefore I had my vehicle towed to a place that could do it at a
more affordable price. Had I been told that it was covered under a warranty and
just had to pay a deductible  I would have had it done there.
To date I need new tires, as the ones on my car are bald(this
was brought up in a letter to the dealership that was not addressed) and still
have a service apt for 10/14/15 to figure out why when I picked my vehicle up
last from the dealership my front end is making a peculiar sound ,when it wasn’t
dropped off this way.
I am requesting that I get reimbursed for my alternator that I
paid out of pocket, that is now supposedly covered under a warranty and
requesting a vehicle at equal value.
[redacted]

My complaint is for the $108.00 for the improper test and diagnosis of the emissions system fault and for the additional attempt to perform the inspection. I would settle for the $108.00
Thanks
Tom Sellie

The consumer did a Trade in Marketplace offer online through our website or [redacted]. A guaranteed value is given which is backed by [redacted] BUT in the disclaimer the guarantee states vehicle condition must be verified in person by dealer.
"
What is...

[redacted] Trade-In Marketplace?
[redacted]’s Trade-In Marketplace gives consumers real, actionable offers for their vehicles when it’s time to trade or sell them.  From the comfort of their homes, consumers receive offers they can use for quick cash, or to take control of trade-in negotiations.
Other trade-in value ranges represent a model’s general worth.  But a Trade-In Marketplace offer is unique to the equipment and condition of a specific car, truck or SUV.
Trade-In Marketplace offers are based on information provided by consumers.   The Trade-In Marketplace offer is backed by [redacted], and you’ll never have to accept less, as long as the car’s information and condition are verified.
This was originally done online from consumers home before they came into the dealership. They live in [redacted]., and our Dealership is in Albany, NY roughly 62 miles away. When the condition of the vehicle was verified at our Dealership it was not as described originally through Trade In Marketplace, there was undisclosed damage, and the consumer agreed to the deal with lower figure. They signed all paperwork and took delivery of their new Pre-Owned Volkswagen Tiguan. It wasn't until a month after the delivery when the customer called the Dealership requesting a check for the difference.
Customer also drove back to [redacted], on Dealership dealer plate to get car registered in [redacted]. They refused to return our dealer plate, which prompted us to call the [redacted] State police to visit the consumers house to request dealer plate returned. IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED. This car was delivered on April 4th, 2015 today is June 2nd, 2015.  Consumer is holding the dealer plate ransom.

[redacted]
I will pay the amount for the alternator and that will be my last goodwill effort, on replacing the car that is not exceptable.

Revdex.com spoke with the business who advised the consumer vehicle was towed in after died on expressway.  Vehicle was determined to have a bad alternator.  Consumer was given two options for repair either a new or re-manufacturedalternator, which would have been...

covered less a deductible under her extended warranty.  Consumer declined and tow ed vehicle away.
