As far as the shower door that [redacted] purchased from The Shower Door company, DHI only recommended her to go there for a door. The shower door [redacted] purchased was a standard height frosted glass shower door. [redacted] then decided after purchasing that door that she wanted a taller door with...

clear glass because she did not want to "hide all the pretty tile work" in the shower. We did not sell or install any of the shower doors ordered for her project. We only suggested if she could not return the first door that we could see if another customer would want the door. We did not or will not buy back the door from her. As far as the handrail, there was additional work required to be done for [redacted]'s lower step and staircase. Out of courtesy to [redacted], DHI said she only has to pay the material and labor cost to repair the staircase because the original cost was out of her budget. Whatever materials were left over, were left in her garage. DHI also sent worker's back in February 2016 to re-caulk the bathroom sink. If the sink needs to be re-caulked, DHI would be more than happy to take care of this matter.

The response from the business does not resolve my complaint.  Mr. G[redacted] never picked up the shower doors to either keep and use at another job site and pay me in full, or deliver them to my home for me to resell.  No stairwell materials were left in my garage. I paid in full for items needed to complete the repairs to the steps and also for materials needed for future faux wainscotting.  The price quoted later for the faux wainscotting was exorbitant and I requested a refund for items I paid for in advance. As I told Dependable Home Improvements several times - No stairwell materials were left in my garage or anywhere in my home.  Repair work to resolve the water seeping through the bathroom countertop was never addressed. I again request a refund as stated in original complaint and the bathroom sink issue fixed.

Dependable will pick up the shower door at the Shower Door place and drop it off at [redacted]'s house at our convenience. At that time we will re-caulk the counter top as needed and we will give [redacted] a refund check in the amount of $178. [redacted] needs to contact the Shower Door company to let them know we will be picking up the door for her. We will contact [redacted] to set up an appointment time to complete this within the next 2 weeks.
