The house we had windows installed is our second home We live in WisconsinWe ordered the windows and an entry door with a glass panelThey weren't ready before we returned to WisconsinI flew back in May for the install.The windows arrived and when the door was installed it didn't match the size of the glass panel next to itA new glass panel had to be orderedDSG was very apologetic and we agreed that I would hold back $that I would pay when the windows passed building code inspection Serita said she would take care of the inspection and notify me when complete.The windows still haven't been inspected The building inspection depttold only DSG can request the inspection I called my salesman and Serita No one will call me backI still owe them $ Maybe there's something wrong they don't want the inspector to seeThis company should be called Undependable Shutter And GlassPlease advise ASAP [redacted] XXX-XXX-XXXX

repair person arrived on time, was very professional I was asked for my credit card Noso they can charge $just to diagnose my shutter issueHowever I was not aware that they would charge $for the repair person to get up on his foot ladder to make the repair I am surprised that I was not charged because he had to use a screw driver Isnt using a ladder part of the job The repair was made feet off of the ground No big dealI understand if they would have charged me for parts however I feel that the $for the use of his ladder was a total rip off

Used this company to install shuttrers on my three terraces Installation was fine and problems were taken care of promptly Not any more I request maintenance twoice a year which I pay for, good luck trying to get someone to call you back I have been waiting since 10/21/ti replace a blade My shutter cannot be moved, today is 11/30/ I have called times Go somewhere else, NOT DEPENDABLE

Contacted company to provide service to my shutters, because certain areas, required more that greasingWas told that an $charge for a ladder rental was going to be added, because my home was two storiesAlthough, found this to be concerning, because what such company would not have a ladder and never heard of such, I proceeded with the servicesCompany came out, lubricated all shutters(that was good), but left me a bill with a note, that I need approximately ten new thumb screws
In addition, I was not contacted during their visit, the main reason why I called was not addressedWhat's more disappointing and frustrating is that if I wanted o replace ten thumbs screws anther $ladder rental charge would apply
The Service Manager was unhelpful and did not offer a logical explanation or resolutionThe only offer was to speak to the ownerIn summary, I paid for service and a ladder rental chargeCompany failed to provide a full service because they were "Too Busy" and to finish the job, they should had done during the original visit, I needed to pay another $for a ladder rental

DSG was very apologetic and we agreed that I would hold back $500 that I would pay when the windows passed building code inspection. Serita said she would take care of the inspection and notify me when complete.The windows still haven't been inspected. The building inspection dept. told only DSG can request the inspection. I called my salesman and Serita. No one will call me back. I still owe them $500. Maybe there's something wrong they don't want the inspector to see. This company should be called Undependable Shutter And Glass. Please advise ASAP [redacted] XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Received a prompt estimate from these folks, and a contract package that included a document to sign that stated we had HOA approval for the work. Since that wasn't true, we decided we had to pursue the approval first, and asked for proof of insurance coverage, which the HOA requires. Office staff declined to provide this and the salesman subsequently told me that they don't want the job. Wow?!

However I was not aware that they would charge $80.00 for the repair person to get up on his 4 foot ladder to make the repair. I am surprised that I was not charged because he had to use a screw driver. Isnt using a ladder part of the job The repair was made 7 feet off of the ground. No big deal. I understand if they would have charged me for parts however I feel that the $80.00 for the use of his ladder was a total rip off.
