Review: On Thursday, Oct 3, I purchased a dishwasher from the MOSCOW Deranleaus store. The salesman ([redacted]) said that when the new dishwasher was delivered that they would install and haul away my old dishwasher. However, on Saturday when they delivered it, the men said they were not qualified/licensed to install the dishwasher and planned to leave it sitting in my garage. I told the delivery person to return the dishwasher to the store. I also called the store and complained and demanded may money back. I drove to the store and was told that they couldn't return my money --that because I had written a check that only the Lewiston store could issue the refund. I demanded that the salesman (only one there and NOT the one who sold me the dishwasher) to call the Lewiston store. The Moscow salesman offered no apology and in fact laughed as though he thought it was funny. I talked to someone at the Lewiston store who again offered no apology and again didn't seem to think the issue was important. I told him to cut a check and put it in the mail that day (Saturday) so that I would receive it asap but he again didn't think it was important enough to bother. I needed the refund to go to another store to purchase another product. When I questioned the Lewiston store person about their salesman promising installation and that they didn't provide it--he said the salesman shouldn't have said that. Why would a customer be expected to install a dishwasher...had I known that I obviously would not have purchased it.Desired Settlement: A refund of my money --how can they not have the ability to refund a customer's money at their Moscow store. And, an apology for not telling me that they didn't install and haul away the old machine. They made no effort to say "how can we make this right" or to send the refund.This store is deceiving their customers

To whom it may concern,

There was a misunderstanding between the customer and the salesman about who was going to install the dishwasher (someone she already had in mind or should we schedule it through our installer). Our apologies for not clarifying. She was unwilling to allow us to correct the situation and a full refund check was issued Saturday afternoon and mailed directly to her. She was upset that it did not come in Monday's mail, but we have no control over that.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not satisfy my complaint. There was NO misunderstanding between the salesman and me...he told me that they would install/AND haul away my old machine. He did NOT ask if I wanted to install it myself nor did he say that the people who would be delivering the dishwasher last Saturday had no ability to do installation. If he had indicated that I was expected to do this, I would NOT have purchased the dishwasher from this store. Homeowners are not experts at installing appliances that require knowledge of plumbing etc.

If the check arrives today I have no desire to communicate with this company further.
