Its very unsafe to be selling tires that are this old. If an accident were to happen to someone that purchased a tire from this distributor it could be very devastating. As Shelby stated on their website

This is very very far from a Quality product, It's defective and not even approve by DOT regulations.

Yes I got a credit back, But a good company that cared about there customers wouldn't sell such a faulty product, or would at least refund the amount I spend to install the tire and make it right.

We ship the tires that our distributor sends us. We don't inspect or guarantee build dates. As a purchaser of tires it's your responsibility to inspect and approve the tire along with the installer doing the same. We issued you a 100% refund on the tire purchase.

Morning Shelby,

I purchased a Michelin Pilot Road 3 Motorcycle Tire Sport/Touring Rear 160/60-17 from your company off Amazon. The motorcycle shop installed the tire and told me it’s over 5 years old. I contacted Michelin and they said “That tire is not safe for use” I would like to have a refund but also the $68.00 that I had to pay to mount the tire.

I can provide you with the invoice of the Tire mount dismount and balance, I just don’t have on me at work today.
