This response is intended to address the two issues brought forward in the ***’s complaintAdvertising concerns It is Dercon’s practice to only post materials with customer approval. In this case, there was a communication issue and images were posted. As soon as we were advised
there was an issue (6/26/2017) we immediately went to work removing all content related to their project. This included removing images from our website, Facebook, rolling video, tradeshow booth and printed materials. We believe we have accounted for everything but we will be contacting our client to confirm we haven’t missed anything and they are satisfied with our efforts. Should anything surface down the road and it is brought to our attention, we will remove immediately upon notification Refrigerator Issue Dercon has a one year warranty and this issue was brought to our attention outside of that warranty period. Given the unique set of circumstances and that we were back in the home, we will work with the ***’s to get the refrigerator issue resolvedWhen a course of action is agreed to by both parties, we will notify you for follow up

Dercon is a great company to do business withThe quality of their work is beyond compareUsing companies listed in Angie's list that had high ratings, we shopped around for contractors to do this work Some returned our calls, others really did not seem to care to do this projectNone of them performed the detailed explanations and drawings that Dercon didOne of the many reasons we decided to use Dercon was when Dean, the owner, and his son Conner visited us the first time, Dean did a thorough check of the crawl space above the kitchen/dining area to make sure there would be no surprisesHe took pictures of the areas up there and of the roof interior and pointed out to us that we had a small leak in the roof around the kitchen plumbing vent stackHe showed us the pictures and then went outside up on the roof to check it outNot only did he check it out, he fixed it (sealed it) as well as some exposed nails and took pictures of it all to show usHe did this for us without our asking and at NO COST! We had just had a very strong windstorm a few days before and the wind took a couple of corner shingles of the bumpout in our dining area to the deckI managed to find the corner shingles and ask Dean if he could fix them (for a fee, of course) as long as he was fixing thingsHe did so, again at NO COST! We were told our remodel would take weeks to completeThey finished in weeksThey took great care not to disrupt our everyday living and to keep the dust down to a bare minimumThey were not the least expensive, but their work is the bestWe would never hesitate for even a second to recommend them to others as well as hire them for any future workI must also mention that our project manager, Stephan, was extremely detail oriented and always on top of things to make sure they were done rightThat made our remodel pleasurable instead of problematic

On time, excellent workmanship, quick to resolve problems, subcontractors all punctual and talented, made an effort to minimize disruptions, cleaned up afterward, completed on scheduleAfter the first project, I hired them again for more

Dercon did excellent work for us, and all work was done in a very timely manner after last June’s hail stormThis included the roof, siding , and numerous other things All things were done in a very coordinated way as well , and they let us know of the workers coming over to make
sure it worked in our schedule

I strongly recommend Dercon to perform your home improvement projectsThey completed a home refurbishment project on my home in March/April, Work included reroofing, gutters, replacement of front and rear porch steps, a garage entry door, and painting of front porch columns/railsProject planning and work were well coordinated and timely with excellent communicationThen on June a severe hail storm destroyed much of the work and damaged many homes in the areaDercon leaders proactively called to offer their helpThey worked with me and insurance persons to assess the damage and negotiate coverageThe recovery added new siding, large garage doors, and window repairs as well as most work from the early Spring projectDercon showed strong ability to vary worker resources and procure materials as they completed many concurrent projects in the storm area
