Does NOT stand behind their product!
Dispatcher told me how many pavers to have on delivery. When delivered I was told 2 more were needed. Got them same day. Building is level but noticed light appeared in bottom side of the door. Derksen sent Jan Jansen out who said, “ this is not a warranty issue.” Before he got within 20 feet of building. He saw delivery report and assumed we never got additional pavers. When he got close and saw we did he said,” well if we do fix it we will damage your Sheetrock.” I said I would expect them to make fix that as well, to which he replied,” we aren’t sheet rockers!” Even though I provided the receipt showing we obtained the additional pavers the very same day of delivery Jan continue to tell me it was not a warranty issue and they wouldn’t fix it. The building is 3 months old. Better Business Bureau reviews show several people complaining about the framing of the doors and windows. The reviews also show that Dirkson never takes responsibility and often responds in an unprofessional and rude manner. There is no customer service only lip service before they cash your check.

I did not receive my entire deposit when I cancelled delivery building that was not up to my area wind code.On 5 Mar 2015 after a few weeks of returning from Afghanistan, I entered into a contract to have a 16x40 storage shade built that was sold to me through one of Derksen third party sellers on false pretense. I was told I didn't need a building permit to place it on my property because it wasn't a fix structure. Later I find this was not true. I contacted Derksen to supply me with my building plans needed by the city of Savannah and I received plans for my building from a ([redacted]). That particular plans said that my building wind category was set at 105mph and after the city refuse to give me a permit I was told I needed a building with at least 122mph wind category. After talking with [redacted] on 1 May 2015, he emailed me new sets of plans that showed 150mph winds to suffice the city, but the building was already built and was ready to ship. Nothing was changed on the building but seem to me that he wanted to just give me some new bogus plans. He first told me that the inspectors were not going to look under my building and then tried to sell it off to me as the original prints for my building. At that point I decided I didn't want to conduct any other business with Derksen because they seem to have been working on dishonest business practices. I received a check of $480.71 and my initial deposit was 1230.71I conducted the business from DBA Derksen Portable Buildings[redacted] XXXXXXXX-XXX-XXXXDesired SettlementI would like my full refund.
