Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Because they continue to say what ever is convenient at the time regarding the cancellation made on 7/I called to cancel the appointment I had for 7/at 1:and rescheduled. At one point I was told that it was a miscommunication and then when you again want to turn it around and try andblame meI also document all my appointments and remember the conversations completely regarding cancelling the 7/appointment and not the 7/16. I have notchanging story to suit the circumstance as you haveRegarding my burns, I do not see how you have documented anything about sun exposure when there was no sun in February, But I had DrM*** and her partner Ben RNworking on me, the same day doing the same procedures, one on each sideThe fact the is it's the person doing the procedure properly was DrM*** no burns and scars, but I did not sign up for someone working on me that was under the influence of drug, which Ben has been reported forI wondered why half of my face would have burnsand my right leg would have burns with scars but not the other sideI was not talking the time it took me to dress and undress but the time I sat in the waiting room, the time that was wasted while things were being done on the computerduring my appointment. Your treatment in dealing with these things and the email offer is why this has to be addressed in this way and it needs to been known for all thepeople wanting services to know that they will not be treated as a customer should. I have been scared and burned by a business partner with and addiction and would liketo be refunded that was not what part of what I expected for my laser treatment.Sincerely,*** ***

Within 20 minutes of the email being sent out we had our four model slots filled. I do want to remind you that because of the overwhelming response,...

client for the past year and a half. We understandthat you have a choice when choosing these services and we are very thankful thatyou have chosen Derma Medical Spa for your aesthetic needs. I would like to address each ofyour concerns and hope that we will resolve any concerns you may have movingforward. You had mentioned that each ofyour 90 min appointments started late and ended early. At Derma we try our verybest to stay on time with our clients. If for some reason one of yourappointments were cut short we try to make it up in the next appointment.Having said that, please know that the “90” minute time frame does include youchanging your clothes and any discussion that needs to happen. We would like to address the cancelledappointment that you are referring to. On 7/9/2015 you had called in andcancelled your appointment that was scheduled for 7/16/2015 and had rescheduledit for 7/26/2015. You did receive an email confirming this appointmentscheduled. We log every one of our calls and we are very sorry for anyconfusion this may have caused. You mentioned in your complaintthat you have been doing hair removal for a year and still have hair growth. Wewant to bring you back to the original consent form you signed in which itstates the following: “I understand that the clinical results mayvary depending on individual factors, including medical history, skin type,patient compliance with pre/post treatment instructions, and individualresponse to treatment.”“I understand that I have beenfully informed of the nature and purpose of the procedure, expected outcomesand possible complications, and I understand that no guarantee can be given asto final result obtained. I am fully aware that my condition is of cosmeticconcern and that the decision to proceed is based solely on my desire to do so.“The eLight IPL laser recommends6-10 treatments for the long lasting results. In the time that we had you eachmonth you chose to have multiple services that our laser offers. Not just hairremoval. You chose to have skin rejuvenation, skin tightening and laser hairremoval. For addressed concern you had each of the following areas treated;Underarms 6 treatments, lower legs (Right) 10 treatments, lower legs (left) 8treatments, upper legs (right) 5 treatments, upper legs (left) 6 treatments andBrazilian 5 treatments. At each appointment you directed us as to whichtreatments you would like done. You also mention that you havescars and burns. I would again like to take you back to the consent form inwhich you have signed:“I understand that there is apossibility of short-term effects such as reddening, mild burning, temporarybruising and temporary discoloration of the skin, as well as the possibility ofrare side effects such as scarring and permanent discoloration. These effectshave been fully explained to me” We try our every effort for burnsnot to happen. We explain and remind in every session the importance of stayingout of the sun before your next treatment. If in fact you do go into the sun,we request that you tell us before we begin any treatment so we can adjust thelaser and try to avoid any burning. But this isn’t always the case even afterasking our clients sometimes they forget that they have been in the sun,resulting in burning. In fact, we have documented occasions when you hadforgotten to tell us about sun exposure that resulted in burns. At Derma Medical Spa we prideourselves on making every client feel beautiful and cared for. Our clients areour family. We are happy to refund you for the last two of your sessions if youfeel the laser is not working for you. This would be $200.00.  This would settle your laser membership and itwould expire. We hope that this explanation bringsa mutual consensus and resolution to your concerns.
