Again,we are all shaking our heads. To reiterate: The patient (like every other patient in the practice)  read and signed a consent to charge an unpaid account a $30  administrative/collection fee. The patient signed this document in December.  In January, she incurred a bill for services rendered. From January to April ,FOUR financial bill statements were sent to her home, ONE email was sent to her email address and ONE phone call was made confirming the balance due. These are all documented by the billing service. All of these acts cost more than the $30 fee cost to collect it. She returned to the office, and after much debate, paid her balance due. Maybe , next time , she'll just pay her bill on time and not incur additional fees.

Review: I WAS CHARGED A SERVICE FEE OF 30.00 DUE TO THE FACT I DIDNT PAY FOR A REMAINING BALANCE OF 47.00 DOLLARS FROM PREVIOUS VISIT. I AM OUTRAGED THAT A DOCTORS OFFICE HAS THE RIGHT TO CHARGE YOU A LATE OR SERVICE FEE IF PAYMENT IS NOT MADE IN ONE WARNING NOTICE SENT TO MY HOME. I FEEL THIS OFFICE COULD OF AT THEY DISCRETION NOT OF CHARGE ME THIS 30.00 FEE DUE TO THE FACT THE ECONOMY IS VERY BAD TODAY. THIS ISNT A CREDIT CARD SREVICE THEY SHOULDNT BE ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH THIS TYPE OF DEMAND ON PATIENT BEING TREATED THERE.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE A REFUND CHECK AND A NOTICE OF AT LEAST THREE WARNING OR HAVE THE BILLING ADMINISTRATIVE PERSON COLLECT OFFICE VISIT AT TIME OF VISIT.
