one month on about 10/3/17 as [redacted] needed additional photos post procedure.  [redacted] came back to the Redondo office on 10/23/17 and photos were taken and a message was left for [redacted] that the photos would be sent to [redacted] clinical.  Please be aware [redacted] signed and initialed a consent for treatment which clearly states Potential Side Effects / Risks» Paradoxical Hyperplasia -- A small number of patients have experienced gradual development of a firmer enlargement, of varying size and shape, of the treatment area, known as “paradoxical hyperplasia”, in the months following the treatment. If such paradoxical hyperplasia occurs, it will be distinguishable from temporary swelling and will probably not resolve on its own. Review: I purchased a bundled, laser hair removal package from DermFx. After the first session, my skin scabbed quite badly and I had a burning sensation for approximately 24 hours. When I went to the second session, I told the practitioner of my experience and she said it was fine. The second time, I had the exact same reaction. After asking a different laser hair removal office if that was normal, I received an unequivocal response that it was not. I have asked for the balance of the money to be returned to me, $686.00, although I received NO value for the first two sessions. Laser hair removal is only effective after 4-5 continuous sessions. The supervisor and owner refused to return the balance of my money, citing their "No refunds policy." I am sure they are mandated by law to have a policy that protects consumers from lasers that injure and harm their patients, which was clearly violated. In total, I paid $1486.00 and was told the first two sessions would be $800.00. They offered me services in the amount of $686.00 which is unacceptable. I have no confidence in their office to perform services based on their past encouragement to proceed with the sessions.Desired Settlement: I would like the balance of my money back, $686.00.

Review: When I first went to Dermfx, I had a proceedure done, I signed a paperwork stating there is no refund for that work. Now, later when I paid for another proceedure to be done and wanted a refund because I did not sign another paperwork stating no refund is allow. I was told that the first paperwork I sign cover all future proceedure too, but it does not state that on the paperwork I signed.Desired Settlement: I want my money back
