I purchased some products from Dermstore on Cyber Monday, when I ordered the items it allowed the products to be discounted using the 30% off cyber Monday code dermstore providedI ordered the items, gave my credit card and paid for them and even received order confirmation emails confirming my purchase with the discountA day or so later when the products where shipped I received a new order confirmation email from dermstore, this confirmation had removed the discount and charged me the full amount, an un-agreed upon amountI contacted Dermstore to make them aware of the mistake, and I was told numerous times by email and phone that I was wrong and that I could not get the discount and that I wouldn't get a refund for the difference, finally I provided them with pictures of the discount and order confirmation and they finally conceded and provided me with a refund of the differenceThen when my order finally arrived, upon opening up the package it was clear that the curling iron was a used/ returned product that I had been sold under the guise of it being new (the packaging on the iron was ripped and obviously had been opened before)As someone who works in the consumer products industry this is incredibly troubling, as we would never sell used/ returned product as new, we are upfront and honest when someone is buying used product and never pass it off as newI contacted Dermstore and stated that I would like to make a return, as I had been incredibly unimpressed with the customer service I had received so far from DermstoreThat return took weeks and many emails back and forth from me and dermstore, with them trying everything from not acknowledging what I am asking for, refusing my return, to saying I can only have a store credit, quite frankly it was the worst customer service experience I had ever had.Do not believe their claims on their website about 'easy returns' returns if your not happy with the items, it's completely falseFinally I was sent a return-shipping label, I told them that I lived in Canada and that would not work, they stated that I would have to pay to ship their used product back to them if I wanted a returnFinally after calling the customer service line yet again, we came to an agreement that I would have someone drive to the border and drop the package in the mail and upon receipt I would be given a refundNow months later I have decided to try again ordering as I really wanted the products and Dermstore is the only place you can purchase them, again I waited and used a discount code I was sent, in the checkout phase it allowed the products to be discounted again, but yet again when I received my invoice a day or so later it had removed the discount and charged my credit card an un-agreed upon amount, when I called customer service they're playing the same game of insisting that I was not allowed the discountAfter checking online reviews this is very common with customers being offered coupon codes and then having them pulled away after their payment and purchase, specifically with the 'favourite item' salesAgain after checking online this is quite a common occurrence for Dermstore to send out product which has obviously been opened/ returned to customers, and making it incredibly difficult to return itemsDermstore's customer service and business practices are unethical, fraudulent and truly atrociousI thought I would give them one more chance and yet again they blew it, I am telling everyone I know to stay away from Dermstore at all costs

I had a horrible experience with DermstoreI purchased some items that I was allergic to and had to return themIt took over a month to get refunded, and after several attempts (both emails and phone calls) to contact the company only one person was able to helpHorrible customer service and overall experience

I ordered a Harry Josh curling iron, hair brush and clipsWhen I received the order they sent me the wrong item, a flattening ironI called to have them send me the correct item and they shipped me a used curling iron, an unsealed, used hair brush with hairs inside the brush!! I called them again to have it exchanged for a new itemI received the third shipment today, and again the curling iron was used and the brush had hair in it againI am utterly disgusted by this site and they have horrible customer serviceI asked to speak to a manager and asked Debbie the manager for a complete refund and a new item in lieu of the ridiculous experience I hadDebbie the refused my request and offered no compensation for my troubles

Do not use your hard earned money with the Dermstore scam. They will send you damaged items and DERMSTORE SCAM WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT. Placed order over 1 month ago and complained directly to DERMSTORE.COM SCAM.

Dermstore Scam tracked my package and stateD THAT I WOULD RECEIVE REFUND UPON NOTIFICATION THAT THE PACKAGE IS IN TRANSIT. USPS STATES THAT THE PACKAGE WAS "only picked" up for return service, AS OF TODAY 11/30/2016. I let them know that USPS DOES NOT PROVIDE REAL TIME UPDATES. ALSO AN INTERESTING DEVELOPMENT THAT THE INCOMPETENT CS REP STATED THE PACKAGE WAS IN TRANSIT IN CONNECTICUT! ARE YOU SERIOUS, "NOT IN TRANSIT"??? I MAILED THIS PARCEL FROM THE ADDRESS IN NEW YORK THAT I RECEIVED THE ORDER FROM. REFUND IMMEDIATELY.

They are LIARS!!! They advertise 1-3 day delivery. I chose them because I had to go out of town in a week and they said 1-3 day delivery. I is now 5 days later so I called and they said they had technical issues and it was taking 8 days!! I will be gone for a month and no one is here to receive this order. I told them to cancel it and credit my account and they said we are sorry there is nothing we can do!! They have my money and they don't care!! They falsely mislead customers!

I had a horrible experience with Dermstore. I purchased some items that I was allergic to and had to return them. It took over a month to get refunded, and after several attempts (both emails and phone calls) to contact the company only one person was able to help. I placed an order on Dermstore on 8/31/15 because they were running a 20% promo on a brand I wanted some things from. The promo was clearly advertised on the website, and it was not given to me. I attempted to contact the company through their LiveChat and spoke with a representative that was rude and unhelpful, and she basically said there was nothing she could do. I also reached out via e-mail twice, and never got a response from the company. My items arrived, and I returned them the next day because I was so unhappy with the customer service I received. The website says that they offer free shipping and returns. No asterisk or caveat or anything next to that claim. I came to find out during my returns process, returns are NOT free if you want a refund. They will send you a return label if you opt for store credit. But they make you pay for your own shipping back if you want a refund to your credit card. So basically, I ended up paying them to rip me off. I would have been totally happy and fine if they had just responded to my e-mails and conversations about their sketchy business practices, but what really annoyed and disappointed me is that they wouldn't listen to me as a customer (I'm very nice about it, too!) and they didn't respond to either of my e-mails at all. I ended up ordering the exact same things at another website who offered a 20% coupon and free shipping, and they actually gave me the 20% and my items also arrived in two days. I would never recommend Dermstore to anyone, especially when you have other options.
