I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[ First of all I was fitted in [redacted] Ca. not Canada. I read Joseph's letter, however he told me that they had some defective material for the lining and I know the boots with the dimples and big dents are not because of shipping. It is because they have used the wrong glue or have inferior lining products. If the lining was applied correctly and was a good quality he wouldn't have had to make me four pairs of boots. I will be sending some pictures of the third and fourth pair to Revdex.com and to Joseph D** today, so he can see  what I am talking about. He knows he has a problem with these products. He admitted the lining was a problem when I met with him in [redacted] in August. I have an e-mail from his representative she saw the boots and also said they are not correct, and ended up resigning the next day as she had too many unhappy clients that are unhappy with Der Dau. I will enclose it with the pictures. My question is…how many more pairs of boots do I have to go through??10 ….20….As you will see by the pictures they are not a quality boot. Why did Joseph send the fourth pair to me it is very obvious the y are not what I expect for $2267.00.

Review: On April **, 2015 I was fitted and measured for a pair of custom made riding boots. I gave Der Dau a check for $500.00 as a deposit. With a balance of $1767.93. I got the first pair of boots in June 2015. I paid the balance before the boots were shipped to me, the check number is [redacted] for $1767.93 written on 6-*- 2015. When I tried them on the entire outside of the boots had dimples down the entire calf of both boots. I called Der Dau and they said send them back and we will fix them. So I receive the second pair of boots and they have dimples and a huge scrape across the outside of the calf and they tried to put a filler on it and I didn't except the boots. So the second pair is returned to them. So I am really tired of the run around so I call them and find that the owner Joseph D** is going to be at a horse show in [redacted] about 45 minutes from where I live, so I went to [redacted] and talked to the rep.of the company and asked them to contact Joseph. So he shows up and I explain everything to him and he has the third pair of boots [redacted]/ to the horse show. He looks at them says he will make a new pair, but keep these and ride in them, while we make new boots. Ok so I am riding in the third pair as he wanted to make sure there were no fitting issues and the fit was fine. On about Oct. [redacted] they send the fourth pair of boots and they have two huge the size of your thumb print dents on the left boot outside of the calf. They also added some swarski crystals to the top of both boots and the are indented so deep the crystals can't be seen. I called him and spoke with him on November 5 and told him I want my money back as this is the fourth pair of boots and their quality control is nonexistent. He said no and wanted me to send the fourth pair back and they will fix them. I have tried everything I can think of to make this work and been very patient with Mr. D**. At this point I know they cannot make these boots for me. I have asked many times for a refund and he refused.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund for the defective boots. I have not returned the fourth pair as I don't trust Mr. D** will follow through, however if Revdex.com is involved with this complaint and Revdex.com has contacted Mr. D** I will return the fourth pair of unworn boots when I have a commitment from Revdex.com that he is going to issue me a complete refund. [redacted] was measured by Der Dau for a custom pair of riding boots at a show in Canada on 4/**/15. Upon receiving them she called us to stated that they fit well but that there seem to have been some type of bumps on the leg. I send her a [redacted] return call tag for their return. Her boots are a pair of Dressage boots which are a stiff riding boot. In order to achieve this stiffness we use a leather board which we out source. This leather board once attached to the leather left these bumps on the leather. Our quality control did iron them out before shipping. It seems that within transit the bumps re appeared. She called us about this and we issued her a [redacted] return tag and remade the boots using a different batch of the leather board. Unfortunately beyond our control it seems that somehow the bumps re surface but during transit. At his point she was extremely [redacted]et and understandably so. She requested to meet with me at a show, at which point I did and I saw the boots. I offered her to stay with these boots while I remake a new pair. I did purchase a different material and remade a new pair. She called and complained about the boots having some type of thumb print (different from the bumps on the original boots) and the crystal were too deep set in to see. We requested that she send us the boots or send us pictures to help us determine the dent. We will send her a [redacted] return label to cover the transport expense. As of today, she doesn’t want to send the boots back or send me pictures. I am more than happy to work with her and get her into boots that she will be happy to wear.
