Deseret Medical did provide oxygen equipment for *** in June and she did pay $As was explained to her then, this was not a deposit but a rental charge. We told her that if she was able to get qualified for oxygen coverage through Medicare then we would refund her money.
That is not our procedure but we made an exception to help her out. I have spoken with *** several times on the phone and explained that we were waiting to get the documentation from the prescribing doctor in order to submit a claim to Medicare. We cannot submit a claim without proper documentation, including papers that the doctor must sign and send back to us. She has had our equipment and not been charged any additional monthly rental fees since the initial chargeI told her that I would not charge her for the additional months while we were getting her paperwork Our rental rate is $the first month and then $for the subsequent monthsWe finally got the paperwork we needed in order to submit a claim in her behalf a few weeks ago and have submitted the claim to Medicare. We are waiting to receive notice that it has been approvedOnce that happens we are happy to refund the $to her
