Regarding the refund, we informed the member that if they provided a copy of the documentation (either certified letter receipt or copy of the cancellation form) we would be happy to issue a refund. Additionally, the member changed their story when explaining to our manager how they cancelled. First they stated that they had called into the facility, which we do not allow. Second, they stated that they had actually come into the facility but did not have a copy of the form anymore.Because of the detailed reporting and pride we take in dealing with these situations, and the inconsistencies in the member's story, we felt that no refund was warranted as the proper cancellation procedures were clearly not followed.
