Desert Floors Carpet One Inc. Reviews (2)

This review is for Desert Floors. We cannot say enough about the salespersons, Jeff and Bill. Both are true professionals, great customer service and a pleasure to work with. We were delayed with our project due to an escrow that was supposed to close our home in California. We had selected our granite, 5 slabs for the kitchen and 4 remnant slabs for our bathrooms. Because of the delay, the owner said she would hold the selections with a $3,000 deposit. Not an easy amount for us to come up with at the time, but we did bring the check to hold the granite. I made several visits to Desert Floors to tell Bill and Jeff that we are still on hold but hoping to get going soon. No mention was ever made that they had a change in plans or needed an additional deposit. This week we were finally ready to go, excited about the finalizing of plans only to find out that the owner, Kathy, had sold our granite...all 5 slabs and 2 of the remnants! No phone call to us, nothing. Just too bad for us. To add insult to injury, she bald-faced lied about "moving the slabs to another location" but for some reason she was not able to show us our slabs.Yeah, right. No effort was made to keep the business, she stomped back to her office and wrote out a check and shoved it in our hands. We now have to start the entire slab selection process over again (trip to Las Vegas or Phoenix). I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy. Watch your back if you decide to use them! She's a shark.
