can start a claim with the shipper, FedEx.The customer notified us that there was a problem with the item on 11/10/2013 by starting a claim with [redacted]. We responded to the claim in an attempt to determine what was wrong with the item and to see if the package had been damaged in transit.On Friday 11/15 the customer responded to [redacted] that the item was defective and wanted to return. This response was not read until after the weekend when we returned to work.We contacted [redacted] and issued a call tag for the item tracking number [redacted].11/21 [redacted] attempted to pick up the package - not available.11/22 [redacted] attempted to pick up the package - not available.11/25 [redacted] attempted last try to pick up package - customer refused to provide package for shipment.11/25 Customer contacted us to say he never received call tag.11/26 We did not know [redacted] had attempted for the third time to pick up so we responded that due to holiday they may be slow, please contact us if not received within couple days. Customer did not respond.12/10 [redacted] closed claim in our favor since customer did not return item as agreed upon.12/12 customer made compaint to your office.Moving forward, we attempted in good faith to satisfy this customer. He was issued a call tag for the return so he would not have to pay the charges and on the 3rd attempt he refused to provide the package for shippiing. All tracking information for the call tag is available to view online at FedEx.com. [redacted] has already closed this claim on 12/10/2013 in our favor since the item was never returned. Since the customer refused to provide the item, we will abide by the decision of [redacted] and the terms of our return policy.Thank you,[redacted]
