Desert Lifestyles Pools

Desert Lifestyles Inc built my custom pool, spa, bbq and firepit. My pool and spa has an in-floor cleaning system and is virtually maintenance free. Dave was very knowledgeable and made it a smooth building process, especially dealing with the city/permits. I still call him with questions and advice regarding my pool from time to time and he is always available. Highly recommend Desert Lifestyles Inc to build your pool.

This is the second time using David/Desert Lifestyles. In our first house, they built us our dream pool/beach entry/indoor tiled table with elevated spa. WE LOVED IT! So when buying our next house we used Desert Lifestyles again. The experience was comfortable and very pleasant. Yes, with subcontractors there will be hiccups, that is to be expected and out of David’s control, but he kept us in the loop and well, it was all worth it! We have our play pool/driving pool/ “my lap lane”/ bar stools and spa! The kids and I love our backyard oasis! I would use Desert Lifestyles again, and would refer them to anyone (actually all my friends with new pools have a DLs pool).

This contractor has had a license revoked 4 times and just continues to change companies and at the moment is working under what he says is his "son-in-law" company (however, he is single on his facebook profile). We are in the midst of building a custom pool and when we started asking questions, we found out he submitted standard pool plans to the city and when we had custom made, we were missing well over half of the rebar needed for a pool our size. As you can imagine, this will eventually cause us severe damage. Once we found this out, we then found out the pool plumbing was also done wrong to the point that the outside company will not warranty the cleaning of the pool. We were lucky as we found this prior to shotcrete, but how many more people has this company screwed. We found more as they currently have a case against them with similar issues and more and also found that he will be losing his license again from the ROC as a case is pending after the other case. I would not recommend this company what so ever and am happy to provide photos if requested of all documentation.

David took over 6 months only to abandon the job after getting paid the majority of the money. He didn't even bother to show up to court and will end up losing his license and bond.
