Review: I was preparing my home at [redacted] to be placed on the market for sale. The grout (mostly in the kitchen) was discolored from dirt build up and needed to be cleaned. I hired Desert Steamers to clean the grout. When he was finished, my immediate response to [redacted] was "it looks the same". He asked how old the house was. When I told him 8 years he just shrugged his shoulders. I had never had a professional cleaning of the grout so I thought it must not be possible to get it clean. If that was the case, you should have told me that before he agreed to do the work. The next week, my realtor stopped by and said we need to get the grout cleaned. I told him I just had it cleaned. He asked "did he give you a guarantee?" He told me to go to [redacted] and get a grout cleaner and hand held scrubber brush. He said the grout need to be cleaned or it would be harder to sell the house. After a little scrubbing, it was amazing. The grout was several shades lighter. It was amazing. If I could get it clean with a grout cleaner from [redacted] and some scrubbing, Desert Steamer should have been able to get it clean with their high powered equipment. I think they only cleaned the tile, but did nothing to the grout.Desired Settlement: Would love a refund; however, I highly doubt that will happen. I'd just want other consumers to know that they cannot be trusted and although their website states "satisfaction guaranteed". They really don't care if you're satisfied. (I told him when he finished that I wasn't happy and he didn't care at all - and [redacted] who is one of the owners did the work). He can't even blame it on an employee. They just want your money. They have no integrity.
